The Tyne Tees Xpress services do not have any NSAs programmed - may have just been the information screen?

I've never been on one before now to know if it was or not, but looked like it and looks the same as an NSA starting up. Either way, it had a purple screen with a mouse cursor on it instead of anything relevant.

5240's rear display now scrolls "not in service", never seen this before.

Does anyone know what will be allocated to the 9 during the week when 4968,70-75,03 are on the 11.
I know 5248,49 will probably unfortunately be kept but the last 4 renowns at Percy Main 4912,15,16,17 im wondering if theyll be allocated or if any spare bus is to be used.

Valid point, never thought about that!
I reckon 4916 and 4917 will be kept in the immediate future, if not they have presidents

Glad the X1 didn't get the Arrow treatment. Yet I still don't understand the whole green and blue arrow concept

I can't understand it either.

In other news 627 (NK11 DBY) has been painted into Indigo base livery ahead of upcoming service changes.

How many more Solo's need to be repainted again?

PVR of the new 42 looks to be 6, and there are currently 9 Indigo Solos, so I would think depending on what is happening with GNE's Nexus Work that 3 will be needed.

Probs get Wifi & NSA's and that's it, doubt they'll be re-trimmed with e-leather though.

Looks quite smart the new Blue Arrow brand!

And 627 should be refurbished to match the indiGo spec, don't see why it shouldn't?

I also think they should change the sideways seat at the back to add in an extra seat and then refresh them to e-leather

With Go North East gaining the scholars 151 (currently run by Stanley Travel's LK03 NJX, running off my school's scholars the 18A) Will GNE gain the 18A freeing up a decker for Stanley Travel?

Well, judging by the Red Kite B9s at the moment, that probably won't happen just yet. Even if they fitted the B9s with NSA systems, at least the two biggest features will be available (of which Wi-Fi is already present).

Yeah I guess so would be a shame if they didn't like.

Yeah they should do, its only fair to the customers using the service. They could buy however many more is required to the same spec as the new buses in next years order which i think is unlikely.

It's not really as big an issue on the Red Kite - the timetable clearly states that the double deckers which operate the service will only feature Wi-Fi, rather than all the features which the single decks do.

It does pose an issue on the indiGo North Tyne services, though, as there's no way of differentiating the older Optare Solos from the newer examples.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's to not understand? Two services that share a common section of route, with almost a grouped brand? Makes perfect sense to me, and the colour will clearly help to differentiate the two to a customer.

Same concept applies to the Citylink 57 and 58.

Well really, the 39 should be simplicity to, as that services mostly shares its route with the 2/2A but its going to be a brand on red base.

I know i criticized the brand name but the brand does look like quite good on a blue base but could they not of come up with something else?
