Would have been shocked if GO59WMS left the Weardale fleet considering it has just been repainted into their standard livery within the last few weeks.

i think it be they 2 small ones that leaving weardale i remember seeing D6WMS up for sale while back so i think it most likely to be V6/D6 they the 2 smallest solos they got

(09 Jul 2016, 9:03 pm)Tom wrote Phoenix have their new E200 out on the 17 tonight very nice bus but the number is on the left! Hopefully they get it sorted

I think under DDA rules it's allowed to have a route number on the left, it's just not seen as "best practice". Still agree it could do with being on the right though.
RE: Phoenix Coaches
Has everything been delivered yet do you know?

If not I can see a couple of double deckers being used on the nexus work until the Bluebirds etc. are delivered as they won't have enough other buses.

(25 Jul 2016, 9:40 am)Jimmi wrote Looks like the Bluebird's have arrived, or at least one has - SJ16 BGZ, operating the 10:40 84 from the MetroCentre.

EDIT: the other 84/84A is ex Weardale Solo MX07 JNZ.

The MPD is on the M71, It is great!!!

I'm guessing the other Bluebird was on the K2 then?

Is it just me or are the destination blinds dodgy on the Phoenix buses the writing looks to be squashed up on one side

Oops, missed the K2 out. Yep Bluebird SJ16BGX was on the K2.

Yeah, the destination set up does look peculiar.

There was a Cock up somewhere this morning with the 84/84A, the first journey to the MetroCentre didn't run as somehow Phoenix seemed to be under the impression that the first run was the 10:40 from the MetroCentre. I know full well that the first run to the MetroCentre didn't operate as a woman got on the 10:40 departure and mentioned it about a HUNDRED TIMES!

Is that a Phoenix Ford Transit behind the bus stop in the photo?

Thanks Charles [emoji2]

Yes it is, I saw it appear in a few places over the course of the day, it was being used for driver changeovers.

RE: Phoenix Coaches
Why since phoenix took the extra work the destinations are the oppisite way round. As in number being on right.
On the 359/59 the number is not displayed on the back either.

Also most the drivers ive seen have had headphones in and most not in same uniform. This looks really unprofessional plus the headphones could distract them. I know the traffic comissioner doesnt allow bus drivers with headphones in.

Yeah the service has been very poor by Phoenix which is unexpected as they used to be decent on the night time 17. The darts they have got are a disgrace I've never heard a bus rattle so much surely they can do something about that, and there is a mix and match with regards to liveries. You'd think they would paint them all into white. The signs are awful too.

I've seen drivers with headphones in too which isn't very good either.

Yep and surely they should have a uniform which they should all wear.
