(20 Jun 2017, 7:18 pm)Malarkey wrote Are there any plans in the pipeline for services carrying the new corporate livery to gain sub-branding like the 49 has?
(20 Jun 2017, 8:53 pm)ifm001 wrote Think that branding would be sufficient for 88/88A when the versas cone up for either replacement or repaint.
(20 Jun 2017, 3:27 pm)S813 FVK wrote 5402's next stop announcements are not working either - just a plain black screen with no audio. I did manage to get a short video to go with it so I'll go and send that off to the people necessary since I have no idea why I posted that here!
(20 Jun 2017, 10:39 pm)Malarkey wrote I was thinking the same for the likes of the 9/61 and services with an irrelevant brand like the 11/97.

At the moment, the announcements aren't (or shouldn't be) working on 5399, 5400, 5402, 5404 and 5406. This is because they have received an updated media file which has yet to be route-tested before being publicly launched, and also fitted with a cable which allows remote access to the announcements on the bus (over the passenger Wi-Fi) , removing the need for manual updates on the bus itself.
The testing of the new announcements is in the pipeline early next month all being well, and was planned to coincide with the launch of new vehicles on Black Cats 2/2A and 39 and impending service changes to the indiGo network at Washington, so that the audio announcements are consistent on the shared corridors of these routes.
(21 Jun 2017, 3:48 pm)Michael wrote 5472 and 5475 have arrived, that now means 9 have arrived out of the batch of 18, both will be branded tomorrow and i wouldn't be surprised if they enter service after.
Has it been confirmed where the Versa's are going from 2/2A?
(21 Jun 2017, 3:59 pm)Dan wrote With seven now having entered service, things are starting to move around now.
The entry into service of the first four Streetlites at Deptford has led to no withdrawals (replacements for 564, 574 and 4936, as well as providing an extra bus following service changes on 21st May which resulted in extra PVR for service 593/8N). When service X36 is withdrawn next month, the two Scania L94s temporarily displaced will replace the buses they were planned to replace originally. Deptford's fleet balance has therefore been restored to the correct number of allocated vehicles.
The fifth Streetlite entering service has led to the transfer of 8306 to Riverside. This is a replacement for 4926 which was withdrawn earlier this month having sustained accident damage as mentioned on this forum previously.
A further two Optare Versas will transfer from Deptford to Riverside imminently, as replacements for 4931 and 8266, which have both been withdrawn too. This will restore fleet balance at Riverside, as above with Deptford. These will both undergo repaint into the company's fleet livery, and will eventually be joined by 8309 (which will also be repainted), to form the PVR of 4, for services 67/69.
