I'm not sure, but maybe not as they are keeping the 84/84A and 359 which they are normally allocated to.

I've pulled this from Vosa, but it seems to be missing a few details for the service. Interesting that it isn't covered by subsidies when it wasn't making a profit?

Timetable can be found here:  https://www.nexus.org.uk/sites/default/f...180318.pdf

Some more info I found somewhere on Facebook:
Four tenders were received for the 808 service.
The successful operator will be Phoenix Taxis who are based in Blyth
They will use 22 seater coaches that have 2014/15 plates
The service will leave Otterburn at 07:00 (five minutes earlier than the present service)
The ticket cost will increase for a single ticket from present figure of £3.80 to £4.50 and for a return from £6.50 to £7.60. However I am advised it is likely there will be a weekly ticket available that should reduce costs.
Phoenix Taxis will start the service from 19 March hence no gap in the service.

No wonder PCL weren’t making much money - £3.80 single is very cheap for the distance. £4.50 is still pretty good mind.

Very good if you consider gne charge two pounds ten from deckham to newcastle adult single. A distance of two miles. It's about thirty miles from Newcastle to otterburn. Wonder If phoenix will outstation a vehicle at otterburn overnight.

I don't think it stops there as when PCL had it the first stop was Ponteland.

Hi all, in regards to fares from otterburn please see below
Adult single = £3.80
Adult return= £6.40
Weekly ticket= £29

I believe anywhere after A1 roundabout to Newcastle is £1 for an adult single
