7126, I’d imagine.

5498 was put on at Newcastle at about 13:00 to replace a broken down bus.

Making my first venture out on a bus since March when I returned from London, I fell suspect to two odd workings on the same journey. First up was Solo 698 on the 1A which was then replaced by B9TL 6108 at High Flatworth. Also passed a Citaro on the 1A heading towards Metrocentre down the coast. Unfortunatley my trip was in vain as it turned out upon arrival at the hospital my appointment with the physio had been cancelled.

Who needs heroes anyway? Villians have more fun.

There was something about a breakdown on the twitter feed earlier today.

No idea if it is connected or not to either of the Volvo's appearing.

6149 on X9/X10 today along with 6081 in place of coaches.
Seems like coaches are off alot on Monday to Fridays (presumably need some for school works) yet can be full coaches allocation on weekends (providing no national rail rail replacements are on) I'm assuming this has to do with scholars but I'm guessing full coach allocation will be able to happen most the time when the elites come.

7125 and 26 which were supposed to be used for scholars and their move to Riverside had nothing to do with the X9/10 according to posts on here, have also appeared quite a bit.

I tend not to use bus-times too much for obvious reasons, but this screenshot

apparently shows what the allocation has been up to recently.
I think it was yesterday that GNE tweeted about a breakdown in the morning and how the X10 was diverting in to Peterlee.

I don't imagine the powers that be, envisaged these coaches would be allocated so often, for so long and although I've not used them, I'd expect them to be past their best and not up to the rigours of everyday work on the A19.

What scholars were 7125/26 moved for? and presumably along as 2 B11s are allocated to those scholars it should be fine

No idea which scholars they were meant for, it was just what was said on here at the time.

Maybe to allow greater social distancing now that scholars aren't required
