Yeah...that has had a lot of variety in allocations recently.

All depends on 5411 - 5419 transferring from Deptford to Riverside. As soon as they go then they'll be withdrawn. There's still 8294 - 8302, 8304 - 8306 which appear to be on borrowed time aswell since they've got no route and no use for them anywhere.

As is 5281 (on loan to Hexham from Riverside currently).

It's speculative at this stage, putting the feelers out.

As far as I know 5411 -5419 are going on the 49's as they are  euro 5 and the route doesn't enter Newcastle. 5452 - 5469 are all for the 6 and 12. I could imagine the Versa's might stay until the next batch of electric buses are delivered.

Yeah they will be but I don't think it uses 9 buses does it? 7 if I'm right. Believe the PVR of the 6 and 12 is only 11 (I believe) so there's more than enough there to cover the 57 aswell (or 25 either).

There's also 8310 - 8318 and 5377 - 5379 which don't really have a route either but they'll be enough to do the 67/69 and whatever else needs a bus and act as spares when needed. Believe that's every route covered without any use for the 09 plates - which are only Euro 4 so the worst buses in the fleet now (bar the last 3 which got Euro 6 mods guessing as a spare somewhere, CLS no doubt).

They are the only ones which are not the SR model so it will be  to standardise the fleet.

I was on 2 ex Saltwell Parks yesterday, and the seats are worn to their last life they desperately need a re-trim, and USB's. If anyone has been on them recently they can agree with me, the state of them are attriocus, if they were at Riverside they would have been Replaced.

I have been on quite a few 9's and 5's recently for different things. It's not that bad the thing that stands out is that it looks like some seats have been replaced therefore are a lot more comfortable and more noticeably a different shade of blue. Mind you sitting in the 'newer/fresher' seats.

You'd hope they'd be on the list for a retrim considering everything else that's a 63 plate has been retrimmed. The Drifters could do with a refurb too whilst we're at it.

I travelled on one yesterday which wasn’t too bad at all, likewise the Drifter.

They will be done, I’m sure, but it’s certainly not as desperate as is being alluded here.

Please check 8345, that one is particularly bad.

I'd also imagine a new livery especially for the 60, maybe 9/5 too. Hopefully they will be done after the Sunderland & District are done with the 20/Country Ranger, as 60 is the last one to be done for Deptford.

Also, why doesn't the 4's have USB's?

Agreed - absolutely horrific. There are multiple ways to get a poppy on a bus, painting the wheels red on an otherwise blue livery is up there with the worst I've ever seen (realistically, aside from the ghastly appearance, I wonder how many folk will even put two and two together anyway?)

I never said it looked nice, they could just add poppy decals to the side of some buses.
