(23 Jul 2025, 10:39 am)Kuyoyo wrote Judging from Bus Times, 27176 27246 and 27247 are all on loan from Stockton along with reinstated 27240. 35189 is also on-loan from South Shields - who also have placed 27245 into service.

27243-27247 are all for South Shields. 27245 was ready to enter service yesterday, and 27244 entered service around 2 oclock today to cover a fouled bus. 27243 is in the middle of its inspection now. 27240 went to Sunderland to cover the yutongs as it was one of the few that were still within their inspection period. 27242 was going to go but developed an issue in the depot before it could leave. 27631 was also sent to Sunderland today but it had parts removed in preparation for transfer so I’m unsure if these were refitted in time for it to enter service to cover the yutongs

Presumably these are to replace 27631 and the four Darts?

Do you know where the rest of the E300s are planned to transfer to?

27246 and 27247 are both still Stockton's until the additional Yutongs for the depot are delivered - rumoured to be in late August/early September.

27247 is at shields getting its inspection as we speak

Your guess is as good as mine, some are ear marked for the midlands, others Cumbria. The only one so know for certain are South Shields

Anyone know where 19680 is? Hasn’t seen service since it broke down on the 13 at Stockton on 13th June. It did track on the 38’s at Walkergate the other night but that was a mistrack it was actually 19679.

It's in bits at Stockton, or was last week. Supposedly it'll be going to Hartlepool when it's back in operation.

I’ve been told Hartlepool are down to get 19678 in September with Walkergate using that until then.

I spoke to a couple Hartlepool drivers the other week and they were told 680. Maybe they're getting both, or the plan's changed?

It also seems like it will be a permanent move as it’s already got an advert for Hartlepool Water, hopefully a few more Enviro 300s will come to Hartlepool permanently as well which should see the end of the darts and the worse of the 09 plate enviro 200s.

side advert which I know can probably be moved if needed but if they have gone to the bother of putting it on then it must show that the plan is for it to stay at Hartlepool.

Adverts mean nothing. Several Stagecoach vehicles that have went to Cheltenham Races in the past have retained their adverts from the event for weeks afterwards as seen on this ADL Enviro 400MMC that helped out at the 2024 Cheltenham Festival. https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...3598840449

That could easily be a ‘national ‘ advert - it is for Coral which is a Bookies across the UK. Many people inc myself placed bets on said Festival.
RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News
Slatyford have had some work done today to install some mobile chargers for the Yutongs that are arriving very soon. I wonder when they will get the proper chargers installed so all 18 can enter service.

External companies go into bus depots overnight and fit/replace adverts. It's not Stagecoach who do it.

The companies will add adverts to whatever is in the yard at the time, they have no idea if it's a temp vehicle or not, so application of a local advert means nothing, as it can easily be removed.

I know Coral is a bookies that has shops accross the UK because I've worked for them since 2003 (and they merged with Ladbrokes in 2017) and I've been working for the Red side since they closed my Coral shop in late 2021 (though I can still work in Coral shops if required). Sadly the variety of buses that pass my current shop (Welbeck Rd) is mainly wall to wall ADL Enviro 400MMCs which a bit of a down turn compared to the last shop I was in from 2021 to 2023 which was Wallsend, on the plus side, the parking is much easier on Welbeck Road lol.

Anyway for 2024, it wasn't intended to be a National Advert, the advert is specifically applied to buses used on shuttles at the Cheltenham Festival aimed at punters heading to the festival hence why it just said Cheltenham 2024. The advert this year were a bit more mixed (probably after I mentioned that their Cheltenham advert in 2024 remained on some buses for a few extra weeks at no extra cost to the company), some were related to the festival whilst other adverts were aimed at Coral Loyalty Card scheme or the Coral Website, so in theory would have been more advantage being seen elsewhere in the UK. Though in the North East the Coral adverts were removed a bit quicker this year compared to last year, I did see one Coral advert clinging on to the rear of one of Hulls ADL Enviro 400MMC when I visited the city early in July. Mind I did get plenty of photos of the said advert as due to an oversight, the company didn't realised I had booked Cheltenham week off as a holiday, which meant I got a chance to actually see some of bus and coach action on Gold Cup day and still got photos to upload to flickr from it.

Speaking of adverts being in wrong places, I have in the past seen adverts for the Tyne and Wear Metro on Sheffield Supertram and Megabus being advertised on a Go North East bus.
