Today Stockton had 4 spare buses sat in the depot doing nothing, my guess is they don’t need it so allowing Slatyford to keep it. It’s still being used for training at the moment but the Tees Valley branding has been removed for the North East Combined Authority branding

That will entirely depend on the outcome of the TVCA contracts in March/April. Stockton run a PVR of 14/15 (not including Flex…) on contract services for them so there’s a good chance they won’t retain all of it - indeed prices will probably go up to justify keeping new electric vehicles!?

I suppose Coatham Coaches or Hodgesons could be interested in the East Cleveland 1 and 2 which is probably a bit of a hassle for stagecoach now. One of the taxi companies such as Boro Taxis or 23 Taxis could maybe be interested in Tees flex but not other than that since they is really no one else in the Teesside area anymore I would think Stagecoach and Arriva will keep the majority of contract work.  We really could do with some new independent operators on Teesside but sadly it seems unlikely it will happen anytime soon even though Northstar and GCT have shown it can still be successful.
