I take it the gas buses will be going to "Reading Buses" since they've bought most of the batch.

The 63 plates are going for scrap and not down to Reading, only the 14 plate ones are to head south

Shame they're going to scrap but no doubt, Stagecoach will strip them of panels etc.

It does suggest they're planning on using it soon though, otherwise why put a poppy on that one, only to peel it off again before it's used.
Especially when I saw quite a few in service buses that don't have them yet.

Would be good to get it out in service but they did put a poppy on a broken bus on the back yard last year so I wouldn’t read much into it haha

We're talking about a company that repainted an ALX300 (forget which) into Local, and then withdrew it before it had even seen a day in service. I'm half surprised they haven't repainted one of the gasbuses into navy.

I think can confidently say the answer to will they cope with capacity will be no they won’t.

They have the same capacity as the gas buses 70 pax 36 seating 34 standing but i know in the run up to Christmas capacity is an issue however sunderlands deckers are not the most reliable especially on the x24 but mon-fri after the peak passengers numbers have dropped significantly

repainting gas buses would be pointless due to the fact they are going the end of this week or next

Looks like 73190 is getting ready for service, it looks like it could be getting charged along with 73178 & 73183 the rest are all out in service including 73176 following its permanent transfer from Stockton.
