I do like the angel livery.

When are they due?
Ooo Friend, Bus Friend.

Aye, nice they got stevie wonder in to do the design of the Angel
Wistfully stuck in the 90s
RE: Electric Buses/new orders
I wonder how GNE feel about pictures being posted seemingly by Wrightbus employees of their new buses before they're even finished. Like you'd understand a spotter putting his camera between the fence posts or on the delivery run, but I don't feel like an employee at the manufacturer should be posting these.
RE: Electric Buses/new orders
Apparently they were told to remove the photos taken within the Wright Bus Premises, but photos taken out on the road test were fair game as it was on a public highway.

It's like this photo of this Mexico bound ADL Enviro 500MMC I found on a road test near Falkirk at around 2am in the morning (don't ask why I was out driving at that time). https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...5888730963

Who needs heroes anyway? Villians have more fun.

The Corporate one has a same window layout as 6377. Maybe a sign of better things to come?
RE: Electric Buses/new orders
Quite like the white and 2 shades of blue on the diagonal stripes, wonder if this design will be rolled out/stuck onto to all buses as its much better than the current white and yellow stripes

I'm undecided whether this livery is the new GoNorthEast or the new GoAhead livery.

The interior of these seem to be pretty much, for certain in the new GoAhead interior which appears to be getting rolled out.

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1CuuHSrUeL/ - there's photos of the East Yorkshire buses with it here.

Seems like a lot of the regional branding is going out for a corporate brand.

Interior is group standard, opcos are still free to be themselves.

Neither the new GNE or EY liveries comply with group brand guidelines Smile

Aye that's fair, the light blue is really random and is very GoAhead branding wise; unsure where they've got that from. Reason I thought it might have been GoAhead related as some form of trial or something.

25 New diesel deckers, 18 electric deckers for the Angel  ,7 electric deckers for the 58s and 4 electric single deckers for the X66.

From what I have heard the singles are the new ADL E200EV's which is launching in the new year.

Yes apparently the single deckers are Wrightbus, but Volvo and not Streetlight.
The Double Deckers for the 58 ( Electric);will be branded Voltra ,

Surely they'll be Kite's rather than Volvo's? I know East Yorkshire are due some asap. Streetlite's don't exist anymore, as far as I'm aware.
RE: Electric Buses/new orders
18 Electrics for 21 (Decker)
7 Electrics for 58 (Decker)
4 Electrics for X66 (Single)

29 New Diesel Streetdecks split between Washington & Riverside

Sounds to me either

Option 1:
- X1 (12x)
- X21 (8x)
- X10 with X9 re-introduced (7x)
- Spare TBD (x2)

Option 2:
- X1 (12x)
- 10/10A/10B/12 (17x ?????)

I think option 1 is more likely and could be feasible bringing back the X9 with 6377 as spare
RE: Electric Buses/new orders
Does anyone know if the Diesel to electric conversions are still going around?

Some of the older Streetdeck's would be ideal for it, since they're pretty shot to bits and it's probably more worthwhile if they're spending money on them to get something better.  Whether it's the 20/70 Plates or Angels there's arguments for both.

Both Wrightbus Newpower and Kleandrive offer EV Conversations on the Wright Streetdeck Ultroliner Model.

First Bus have had a fair few of there Streetdecks converted across various divisions,

I agree that our Streetdecks should be converted, the X-Lines Green/Red batches would be perfect to replace the B9's on the 307/309.

The Angel examples would be an ideal conversation for Tyne Valley 10's/12 with the 16 Plates forming spare EV's Fleet covering all services that are EV operated.

Will be lucky to be commercially viable using StreetLites nevermind converted StreetDecks if pulling out of the agreement is true, and Arriva re-trench back to pre-covid frequency on the 306/308.

Aye it's the sort of thing I was thinking aswell but maybe thinking the 51/52/93/94 type services then do a big shout about how they've electrified most of Gatesheads routes with the 21, 53, 54 and 58 already being done.

It's sort of PR nonsense they put out, must be massive savings aswell as B9TL's running around on local services seem economically, not ideal - but I could be wrong there.
