Stagecoach North East: Rare & Odd Workings - October 2014

RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings
12074 on 1, 22462 on 22, 19213 on X63

First hybrid I've seen on one. Also I thought the old single Deckers were going back on reserve when the Enviro 400's came back so why is 22462 in service?

I was driving 37144 on the E6, it was just time correcting a late running service. It was taken back off at South Shields.

Must have been fairly late itself?
Departed Park Lane at about 1615 iirc, same time the E2 left (1557 departure).
I know the E1 was regulated that was due to leave around 1610, and apparently the two E1s prior to that were the same too.
Was it just the traffic on the bridge or was it other things too?

Yeah I should've been 16:03 but I ran from South Shields depot to Sunderland. The bus I covered was late due to having a trainee driver on.

RE: Stagecoach North East: Rare and odd workings
Well

17027/9 both spent the morning on the late-starting 52 runs (17029 worked the 364 then onto 52s at 0850, 17027 worked the 0902 52) - 17029 was replaced at lunchtime by 24114 off the 36 (no need to realise what replaced that on the 36) while 17027 remained out until end of the day
In addition to 24114's reallocation, 3 MAN E300s were allocated off booked route from the start of the day - 24105/8 were both on 13s (in reverse order) while 24115 was on 14/34s (and 1 and a half 12s in that as well). As such, 22017/64/66/493 spent the day on 36s.
