27158 was on Norton high street about 2 45 Headed towards Billingham but NIS

27158 is out in Stockton on driver training duties again, still without logos and fleet numbers.

27157 was the 0903 36 from Stockton to Hartlepool, 27160 the same time towards Park End. 24112 is also back from repaint on the 36 in-front of 27157.

As previously reported, MAN 18.240LF/Alexander Enviro 300 24112 (NK09 FMD) is now back at Stockton following repaint.

Richard Smiles reports that in its place at Sunderland is MAN 18.240LF/Alexander Enviro 300 24106 (NK09 FLV) - thereby eliminating service 36 branding from the fleet. 24107, 24108 and 24110 remain in Megarider branding for now, and 24113 - 24115 should be given a freshen up repaint too.

Fleet lists updated accordingly.

27160 had a small issue with its doors at one point on the 36 today, they woudn't open with the drivers button, so he had to press the emergency ones, only happened once and I couldn't get the wi-fi to work (it connected but the page to put in my details didn't come up) so I'm guessing their waiting for all 25 buses to come before allowing people to use wi-fi.

Guessing that the Walkergate hybrids will be repainted in the coming months, since they were new in 2011 like 27723 - 27740?

I don't think they will be - after all, the majority of the 07/57-reg E400s have yet to be repainted in their lifetime to the best of my knowledge. Vehicles are meant to be repainted after 5 years - I think they're only doing South Shields' E300s to remove the branding.

There would have been no capacity issue. There's only a fraction of the buses at Stockton now that were there when Middlesbrough first closed.

The latter is said to have arrived at 17:00 this evening - this puts ADL two vehicles ahead of schedule.
Fleet lists updated to show the registrations of the above two vehicles as well as pulling 27160 out of 'reserve' capacity.

Should be a good time then, now Stockton's deliveries have reached 27165.

Previously, I posted a speculation from Richard Smiles about the number of E300s due to received 'The Zone - Totally Tees' branding. Confirmation from a Union Representative is that 27166-81 will be the examples to be branded for services 36/37/38.

Just visable through the shutters at the rear of the depot (due to being dull and dark this morning) are three E300s, presumably being Stockton's 24106 and South Shields' 27740 getting a new coat of paint. However, there was another unidentified E300 getting sanded down in the far left workshop.

27734 went to Sunderland yesterday

Outside Alexander Dennis this morning (circa 8:45) looking like it was getting ready to leave was:

SN64OJS in "The Zone" branding.

So this should be arriving on Teesside at some point today.

That can now be confirmed as 27167 (as the registration has been published).

Confirmation yesterday is that SN64OJG/L/P are now the only E300s yet to be logo'd up.

Hi just seen new Enviro 300s on the 36 today but didn't gets its number. And are there any more of new Enviro 300s yet to come.

The dreaded branding.

27159 entered service today on 36s (and on soon-to-be-withdrawn 36A).



27165 is also now logo'd up and ready for service. At 6pm, 27163 was parked by the smoking shelter in the yard, 27164 was over the pit nearest the fuel line (the area shut off during the Open Day), 27165/6 were over the pits used during the open day on the middle and office side lanes. A fourth was in the main shed (too far away to identify - likely 27161/2). And on my way home (after a wasting of time), was passed by 27167 on delivery.

Can confirm 27166 has the orange 'Time Zone' version of 'The Zone' branding.

24108 is at South Shields

The number of new E300s in service at Stockton has increased with the entry into service this morning of 27163 on the same working as 27159 yesterday.

Can't have lasted long as I passed it Sorry Not In Service an hour or so ago.

27163 ran light from Billingham to Stockton before running a delayed 1203 trip as far as Middlesbrough. Blame the traffic in Middlesbrough on a morning.
