Talk about one extreme to the other, in terms of passenger experience. Tongue

I'm glad I finished college in June otherwise I'd be riding crap like this for an hour, the Sapphire seats are very comfy, the seats on 4001 give me backache.

I'm pleased that there is now a dupe on service 7 on a morning as it was horrendous being crammed on a Pulsar with standees falling on you as they were too busy viewing Instagram feeds instead of holding onto the handrails. Can't wait until we get double deckers on the 7 as getting out of Darlington on an evening is horrendous, I've even got the Scarlet Band 16A hone it's that bad.

To be honest the 16A isn't all that bad. I mean its got relatively comfortable seating and its never full. The only downside is the gearbox on YT51 EAW really...

Aye, YT51 EAW is not great, but on the 16A to Newton Aycliffe you only normally have a few concession pass holders between the Town Centre and Mowden then you have the bus to yourself unless someone is travelling to Cockerton or School Aycliffe.

I had one of the MPDs from Darlington on the 57 tonight. You don't half feel every bump on the road.

It starts at Aycliffe town centre and follows the 7E working to Framwellgate, then dead back to Darlington. The only reason 4001 was on it this morning was one of the Sapphire Pulsars was in for test.

1724 on X66's all day today. Should have been interesting with the timekeeping on that one with it's (very) limited running speed! I know things are tight at Darlo at the moment, but "flogging" and "dead horse" come to mind!

1611,4007 are on 12s also

1611 was on the 13 earlier. Also 4001 on 11.

This journey is operated by Belmont depot and comes off service 24X in Easington then runs dead to Sunderland to pick up this journey and is always a double decker.

Although that vehicle is listed for disposal in the latest fleet allocation, so one could argue it is rare?

You could get the X7 from Park Lane to Middlesbrough, and you might see it...

Or go to Darlington - as it's Darlington based.
