Would it not be logical to try n swap 1427/1513 round if possible

That would be logical but there about 15 mins apart by that I mean 1513 is in at 11:00 where as 1427 is in at 11:15

Could they just be keeping near to the depot, as a spare incase one of the other MAX E400's break down/need to be replaced?

Yep, they couldn't be bothered to put it on the X18.

I know who is exactly to blame for this odd working, and he's an anti-enthusiast miserable git.

It's due to Darlo being a couple of Pulsars short since 1410/24 went to Durham in exchange for 2 Omnicities.

Must have been taken off when it got back into Darlington.

To be honest from. That photo it looks like its had a bump as it has a dent in the bumper and it wasn't there at 10:45 when I seen it, I know the driver so I'll have to ask

I took this photo at 1250.

It did another round trip after I took this photo.

Don't know what it is with the bumper on this bus, saw it a few months back and it looked like it was hanging off.

So another round trip would have been 15:30 back into Darlington, then it must have got taken off possibly replaced by 2850 as 2850 disappeared between 15:21 and 16.06, as 2850 was the spare bus, then that would explain where it went and then they changed a gas bus of the 12s for 1427 at 15:45

I got 1427 from Durham at 1437 so it would have been back in Darlington at 1545.

Don't fancy the thought of a Solo on the 7 at that time especially.

Hmmmm not to sure on that one then, but whatever happened 1427 was on 12 at 15:51 as I passed it on yarn road, the driver that had 1427 on the 12s had a gas bus to start with as he took it over at 15:10 as I went past it near sainsburys, then I went past the same driver at yarm road on 1427

That may have been used to get ready for the next stop announcement that this service is getting as it looks like its on stand A and it also looks like there's 3 drivers on it

Correctomundo...It is on Stand A, I thought it may have been replacing a vehicle I had seen not 5 minutes previously at The Moorcock that was knackered

I haven't recovered from getting into school at more-or-less 08:00am on the dot every morning to get my coursework completed - before using all of my frees this week to work on it, too!

Have so much work that needs to be in for 16:00 tomorrow - was no chance of me hanging around to get better photos than the above. Sad
