Does anyone know if that X21 Competition is still running? I got a good shot of both the Castle and Durham Cathedral in a single shot and id like to send it in.

Runs until 31 March, so you can still send it in.

The issue is tho these are getting used on frontline services 33 36 39 X1 and it confuses customers expecting a red bus. The intention was school services

I'm sure they are used as a last resort.

I'm not surprised with the amount of movements. 8270 8271 should of just stayed at deptford

Them two are vile! They should just be withdrawn as soon as possible.

Only 8270 is 8271 should of stayed at Deptford to replace 8258

Maybe they think 8258 is in a better condition than 8270 or 8271.

I would argue 8252 now with Kingsleys was better than the 3 Vehicles mentioned above, otherwise the Cadets are shite, sooner they are gone the better.

I agree about Cadet's being sh##e. Me and Dan were on 8270 a few weeks back and it started smoking. 8271 smelt like p##s when I rode it.

I had either 8270/71 on Wednesday evening from The Galleries to Lambton, and it broke down 4 Times, literally could barely move and the was constantly restarting it, ended up jumping off at the bottom of Lambton and walking up home.

That sounds like 8270.

Once the lady was sure it was the right bus, the only pressing issue was whether we'd make it up Sheriff Hill without blowing up. We had a nice chat at HLS about the Castles Express and chimpanzees (oh yes, there's a link in her world) until Big'un interrupted with a pressing question about something trivial and then she got on the 20 with us. I forwarned her that she'd see nice shiny new buses on there, soon.
670 has gained a sticker on side of the bus to allow passengers to see it has seatbelts fitted, this one is a pink circle - https://www.flickr.com/photos/danielgrah...otostream/

Edit:

Just noticed April is the month which no new buses are delivered.. hopefully the Streetlites start to arrive early Tongue,
Metro city approaching Durham city centre if anyone is hoping to stalk it today. Should arrive at 11-ish
3943 parked on the main road outside Washington so was probs there all night.
Will GNE extend the Inigo Day/Weekly Savers to the 40/41 and the 80 when they enter service?

Will we finally see a day and weekly ticket on the Prince Bishops when the new Streetlites enter service?

Would love to see a return type ticket that works over a period of time.
Limited to one journey in each direction, but valid over a couple of weeks - making it cheaper than two singles.
Ideal for all those folks who use public transport to the railway station or airport and not coming home the same day.
Is the Metrocity on a set board, as I'm after it on Thursday and rather not spend most of the day and petrol chasing it as I've got to get Metro Replacements and Hexhams new Solos in that day too.
Has 8262 been repainted?

I don't think so as there is already the North Tyne saver for £3.90 a day or £13 for the week. And there is a flat fare of £1.50 on the 40/41.
4946's front blind wasn't working earlier today.
8267's & 4908's rear blind's weren't working.
