Welcome to the forum  Big Grin
Nexus MPD OO05 STX now carries two side adverts. Both of which are for 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels the Musical'
E200 E2 STX has gained the same advertisements
Elite J10 STX has finally been fully vinyled up for Glenton Select holidays.
Saw this advert on E2 STX the other day when i was in the yard but waited for a picture to appear before trying to explain it.

Interesting. I have to say, Stanley Travel certainly are going to town with adverts. All buses in the fleet have at least one advert for 'The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' at the Empire (on the offside only for E2 and Solo E3 and all double deckers.

Adverts generate money, so not surprised that they have adverts on their vehicles.

Oh aye. Stanley Travel wouldnt do anythinng if they didnt get paid for it. It only comes a surprise as this is the first time the company have had a big advert season on their buses that havent been advertsing the company itself.
ON02 STX was involved in a minor RTC yesterday with a Northern Gas Networks vehicle on Milburngate Bridge while operating service 40.

Aye, all service vehicles in the fleet carry at least one advert for that musical.

On the subject of ads the Plaxton Pointer involved in the bus crash last year was carrying ads for tanfield school.

Only one advert was carried on the rear for the school. Talking of the incident, it is a year ago today since it happened.
The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels adverts on the buses are now being removed. Volvo B7TL 6006 (S2 STX) is the latest to have its advert removed.
New in is VDL Bova YJ10 JYV which was previously part of the Eurolines branch of National Express:

i have passed one of the b7tl buses in newcastle and the engine sounded like it was going to blow up.
Weardale's YN06 XEC parked up in the Stanley Travel yard this evening when i was in.
Service 40A - Millburngate Bridge roadworks.
During the first part of the roadworks (approx 2 weeks) the closure of Walkergate will mean 40A will run to the Coach Park via Claypath omitting the normal stops on Freemans Place.

Currently on loan to the company - carries the Stanley Travel legals.

Nexus MPD OO05 STX is currently VOR with E2 STX (i assume) taking its place on service 23.
Can I just say, I will be glad when I don't have to get that MPD which is currently on the 23! Urban 90's and it rattles like mad
P4 STX is the coach operating the Blackpool & Pleasure Beach day trip today.

On loan from Weardale at the moment is GIB 976. I assume that it has released YN06 XEC back to Weardale.
YN06 XEC is now back with Weardale as seen it at Crook Yesterday on a different note  Weardale bought YNO6 XEC a good while back from Stanley Travel. Can anyone tell me if they still have the Tiger that was sold to Garnetts then bought back.

Is the Tiger owned by Stanley Travel? If so, i assume you mean B10 STX which is still in the fleet and is currently VOR having mechanical work done to it.
