A while ago, I brought up the x1, reliability, running times, the additional stops etc.
One thing I forgot to mention at the time, but was more than evident today, was the fact it now calls into Wrektonton Bus Link - where in years gone by, it stopped outside the Stormont Main Club.
The time it took an already late (and full) southbound x1 to get out of the road (Springwell Avenue) that runs from the bus link to Springwell Road - due to traffic and the road works in the area, took an age earlier this afternoon.
It can take a while to get out of there on the best of days, but today really rammed it home.
Obviously two other sets of services use this road - 51/52 and 56.
Not sure these routes have the best of reputations for timekeeping and I wonder how much of an impact that junction actually does have on reliability.

I initially thought you were suggesting that 6095 was on services 2A/2C - obviously quite the oddity given that double decked buses cannot be allocated due to the low bridge on the route - but this bus has been on service 56 since early this morning and is still on now as I type this post.

Think back to my M3 Diversion Story, but in this case it being the 2C in both Directions.

The Code was 2C/M3/50A/960, Services which all go over said Bridge.

Honestly thought it would've been quite obvious.

Wasnt that long ago.
I remember the tale well (unforgettable!), but have no idea what the code meant at all.

I have gathered that it is a bridge but something which he hasnt stated is which bridge he is on about...often helps.
It's got to be the bus link from Wear industrial estate (near Makro) to Harraton.
