Not quite repaints, but the Consett fleet livery SRs have had their cant rails covered with black vinyl.

I think this was repainted a few weeks ago, but has only returned to service today as hasn’t been in use since 8th September.

Noticed it happening for a few weeks now - the newer version of the GNE logo is appearing on most of the fleet.
653 has been in for a repaint - in to lilac base -wonder if the repainting of the Indigo brand has started?

Aye, I was just quoting the info on his photo.

Hopefully someone from GNE can confirm.
I was parked alongside an 82 at a junction last week or earlier this week.
Realised pretty quickly it was an ex Percy Main example. Not because of the fleet number or reg, but because of the marks left on the paintwork from the removal of vinyls indicating its previous life.
Looked awful.

Hopefully a  temporary situation

So far so good! Let’s hope the Crusader logo font is modern and there’s not little markings splashed all over.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Go North East logo is put under the lower deck windows like on the Cobalts, (“to match the company name placements of the other subsidiaries”), or whether the route name is placed there to match all of the other new style GNE route brands.
I wonder if the Indigo Washington Solo's will get a repaint to be inline with the X-Lines X1, since the Peterlee Solo's are getting done now.

Cobalts have black strip under the window, so less space available. I'd imagine they will put brand name here instead after the backlash from Cobalt and Coast  Tongue
