You can get a bus and a car through the higlighted section here, but only if both go right to the edge of the road - there's a few times I've taken a bus through and had to mount the kerb because the car doesn't get over to the left far enough (or the car is simply too big)

Aye that makes sense, could see the issue now especially with the high curb aswell which would a nice scrape along the side of the bus and some angry depot staff.

Ah don't worry, I know the road well. Know the exact part. Now talking about it, believe we've passed a bin wagon along that bit before actually and it was tight.

Used to do it in a Solo quite a bit when I first started at Deptford, running light to Silksworth or Doxy, now I much prefer just taking slightly longer ways there then even bothering with the pain of that road.

There is (or at least was) a redundant bus stop on that stretch of road. Not sure when it was last used though. Think Stagecoach briefly ran the 13 that way in the 1990s.

Will all the B5's be allocated to the X20?

From the timetables looks like 19 PVR

It was the same when the wall collapsed just on the bend and the 35A was diverted this way .....safe to say other drivers moved out the way when they had a citaro flying along there. Hopefully with the new housing estate being built in the area there might be a chance for a service to be extended along that road since the nearest stops that are served during the day is the Vicarage or Gilly Law

Could be going Blue for the X21.

Not sure how many spare Streetdecks are free though.
Ooo Friend, Bus Friend.

I have PVR's as X1 - 12, X21 - 8, X20 - 6, so by all means 6308-6314 for X20, 6356-6363 for X1 and 6364-6375 for X1 would work. I have Washington down as having 6332/33/62/63/76 as spare atm - not sure they need all of them.
RE: 28th January 2024 changes
Or Maybe the X21 is going to become light green x-lines to complement the Angel, saves repainting the Streetdecks.

And the X20 will become blue X-Lines. There we go, save money on not needing to paint them and all they have to pay for some new stickers.

If it’s complementing the Angel of late then road stripes all round!
Wistfully stuck in the 90s

I’m sure that the GNE staff who read these posts will think that’s a brilliant idea - great money saving idea!
Best watch for 6362/3 moving from Washington to Riverside……
The return of more B9 from GNW might allow this?

Thought it was for the light green Xlines X21?

Nexus released the timetables

20A takes 51 minutes Sunderland to Durham
X20 takes 51 minutes Sunderland to Durham

What is the actual point in the X20 return. What cause they want to make the public dumb and be like "ride our X20 cause its quicker than the 20" that is just stupid

Also to note the 20A will run the X20 between Durham & Sunderland while the X20 runs Durham to Langley Park on a Sunday

Not sure where you're looking but the X20 is timetable to take 48 minutes from Park Lane to Durham, whereas the 20A takes 57 minutes...

The 20A only runs on evenings and Sundays so have less timing, in fairness there's barely any difference anyway, other than it serves West Rainton, and runs via Belmont and onto the A690 instead - not sure if that last bit is even quicker tbh.

So is Rainton Bridge business park not served during business hours anymore? 20A was the only bus.
