I can see 8306-8309 going in to Go North East

I was rather confused when I saw it, but I do like the colour of it.

There was no other Versas there when I was there so they could all be done separately.

5234 it's been parked there for 2 possibly 3 days, 5238 has (according to gne) also made the move, expect the remaining 3 riverside based omnicities to move before the 21st may changes.

I don't think any speculation is really needed considering the 61 used to be part of the Drifter family.

I've never really been a fan of the Simplicity brand. Hopefully we'll see something new for the 2s - although Versas do look good in silver.....

There is 14 versas at Deptford and 14 coaster Omnicities - I hope they aren't for the Coaster as the Deptford ones are some of the worst.

I've heard lots of bad things about the South Tyne examples recently and I thought that they can't be as bad as they have been made out to be, so I got on 8295 on Saturday and my God it was awful! Certainly the worst I've ever been on.

Yeah but the coaster has 2 Spares making the PVR 16, so there wouldn't be enough Versas for them to go on the 1.

@Jimmi - yeah when I was on 8313 on the Q3 tonight it couldn't get above 5mph and was in idle mode or something the driver said - lucky it was going down the bank and not up as it would have been stuck there but luckily it got to the Guildhall stop and wasn't blocking the road. The Solo which replaced it was far better.

And I hope they aren't for the 1 - couldn't see it happening anyway considering there are no other Versas at Percy Main.

Who says the 1 would have to have spares that are the same vehicle type? Washington now don't have any spare Omnicities for the 5/50 and instead has Citaro's to use as backups for these services (and service 4).

Can't see the Versa's going on the 1 myself and hopefully not the 5/50 either. It's not long since they put 8328 into the new corporate livery either.

Can see them going on 67/69 (PVR of 5 I'm guessing?) and maybe Citylink 57 (PVR of 8 im guessing and Citaros to the Blue or Green Arrow) and then that leaves one for the S1 to replace 8266.

I don't think they'll go anywhere else other than Riverside.

Speaking of 9099, when does it go back?

It's been a valuable thank christ it's not an Omnicity spare, cough, sorry demo on the 21 for a while now.

I'm guessing all purchases are now made on the basis of maintenance, fuel efficiencies , who offers the best all round economical deal etc as opposed to passenger feedback .

Versas are too small for the 1. Keep the Omnicities on there.

However the shade of blue is similar to what 4955 wore for a while. Maybe for the 19.

8319 was parked up at galleries at 8.30
