Speaking 9131 it was 7 Minutes Late coming into Chester le Street heading for Newcastle, and a Chester Driver mentioned to Myself and Gary Devlin that it'll be going on the 21 also at some point while we were taking photos, I can only think that it will be Tomorrow with it being Sunday Service and the 21/X21 Interworking at Durham, Rather than it doing the 21's for a Week before heading back to Lothian.

(27 Jun 2014, 6:22 pm)Marcus Anybody heard anything recently about Sunderland Rd? Everytime I pass it it just looks so empty and abandoned.....

I've heard rumours that apparently it's going to be turned into an Aldi.

I love the budget supermarkets. I quite often pop into the Lidl at Wrekenton for a few bits and bobs. It's great if you're a student and don't have a lot of money Tongue

I thought it was gonna become a housing estate or another block of flats!

I do pop into Aldi from time to time for the odd thing that you can't get anywhere else.

Edit: Now that I think about it - it could have a good use as like a lorry depot for them?

Lidl is like going into a Spanish supermarket, as you walk down the aisles and see all the tinned foods from brands you've never heard of.

haha yeah tell is about it. There's many brands there I've never heard of.

When it was Greek Independence Day, I thought I'd celebrate my sixteenth Greekness by making a Lidl Greek salad. Got some olives and feta cheese and the packaging was mainly written in Greek.

9131 was coming from Bishop Auckland, Heading for Newcastle and i'll blame it on Arriva Congestion in Durham Bus Station, which been mentioned elsewhere on the Forum this week.

Boarded 9131 on the 1409 dep from Durham, on arrival at Chester he stood a while then pulled in at the front of Chester depot for a top up of the blue additive they use, arrival at Gateshead was approx 1455

I'll put Volvo deckers into this statement, "from XP (Palatine 2) to Vista(B7TL) to 7(B9TL) to 8(B5TL)".

Just looked at my photos - the 0809 from Gateshead is also operated by a "Lambton Worm" branded Versa.

Both can be substituted by red spares though, so keep your fingers crossed.
