RE: Jim Hughes of Sunderland/Birtley
Thanks for the latest updates JHCoaches !
Any chance you can confirm a few details for our fleetlist?
> Seating in the Tridents - I note they're 73 seaters, originally 60 (39/21) - can you confirm the current split, as 34 seats downstairs seems a lot!
> Seating in the DAF's - forgot to check one since they've been single doored
> Seating detail for M135UWY (I'm guessing a 70 seater?)
> Previous Registration details for 3262MW, MSU830
Cheers for any help!
Scott

With regards to your enquiry, please see below:-
Seating in the Tridents - I note they're 73 seaters, originally 60 (39/21) - 28 Lower, 45 Upper
Seating detail for M135UWY (I'm guessing a 70 seater?) - 53 Seater
I don't know if you can do anything about it but my scholars 525 uses the LT02 ZZx buses regularly and there isn't enough seats and the new driver we have was really moody as we were blocking the gangway.

Where abouts in Birtley is the JH Depot based, is it near to Kingsleys on Portobello Industrial Estate, was one the depots I was planning on visiting at some point next week.

They're at the top of Fell Bank near the Ford dealership. Portobello Road (the one that runs parallel to the motorway), runs along the top of Fell Bank and whatever road (Shadon?) that Kingsleys are in.
