Interesting that yesterday, the enthusiast area was showing the latest update as 6th September 2020, yet today is it showing 4th October 2020.
The updated Fleet Archive shows weekly entries for 27th Sept, 20th Sept and 13th Sept which have never appeared on the https://www.gonortheast.co.uk/enthusiast-area home page?

Photographed this vehicle at Coach Lane Campus this afternoon, it had just finished a journey on the 1. I presume it is on hire to Stagecoach as it has a fleet name and fleet number 80044. It was latterly with Golden Tours of London In a Harry Potter al over wrap.

Repaints last week included Optare Solo SR M925/Optare 653 (NK15 GDE) into a two-tone purple base livery, which will be used as the new local Peterlee brand in the future

I wonder if the new brand will be launched the same time as the second hand coaches for service X9/X10? As the theme seems to be purplish.

I was reading the Skyscraper City forum this morning and noticed that a planning application to build 185 new homes in High Spen had recently been approved by Gateshead Council.

The map shows that the houses are to be built near Collingdon Road - just north of the Bute Arms and near to High Spen Bus Stand.
185 homes means probably 500 or more residents are going to be moving to the area. Collingdon Road is currently served by the 10A and R6 - the X47 disappears up the bank after the Bute Arms.
The purpose of this thread, I guess, is to discuss new building developments and their proximity to public transport links.
Is the current level of service enough or will High Spen merit a X47A in the near future?

- GNE 56, 309/310/311, X1 B9TL's
- Arriva 306 Pulsars

This just popped into my head. Would be surprised if anything was ordered for the NE anytime soon but if Arriva do order late this year / next year..........I could perhaps see the X93 getting new E400MMCs (ZF).
Given the recent events affecting everywhere globally and other reasons why people perhaps might not go abroad and opt for a 'staycation', the X93 would be the perfect route in terms of growth and attracting tourists.
The B9TLs with 2x kept as 'NE floats' could then be sent to Ashington for the X14 or X20 allowing older E400s to be cascaded down and older double deck vehicles to be withdrawn.
