tbf they could be for the 57/58 or something else for all we know. The brands are very different, it's not as if they've used the same colours before on things. Massive assumption they're going on the Q3 imo especially the amount money they've spent on the Q3 and it's not exactly the busiest route in the world and it's operated by the wrong depot who would have little work without it. In comparison there's the 57 and 58 which are literally running around with tat the second which used to be a very busy route.
Not saying I wouldn't be surprised if it was the Q3 either mind.

Exactly this.
Whilst they could very well be for the Q3, they could equally be for anything. Painting vehicles and then reallocating them or withdrawing them a short while later isn't exactly new ground for GNE currently.

(21 Jul 2022, 6:53 pm)Aaron21 wrote Voltra is literally the most lazy branding ever. It's just a stickers that's itHave you even seen Arriva's 22/23/24 branding before? They can't even make the route map accurate. If that's not "lazy branding" then I don't know what is.
Calling the Voltra branding "lazy" is like calling a one bedroom flat in London "a bargain".

or whoever designed it

The Tyne Valley Ten is much worse than Cobalt and Coast imo. There's so many branding errors with it. Chopped up stock images, the logo which is just aligned wrong, 'into Metrocentre'.
Horrid livery, who attempted to copy the best impression ones. The old one it replaced was 10x better.
Little 'replacetheword' / Peterlee Purples / Venture are the laziest ones imo in particular Coaster which just looked crap at the same time.

RE: Voltra 2
Not sure why people think the Coaster livery is bad, is simple yet effective.
Trust me I've seen liveries that are a hell of a lot worse over the years, here is some examples.
Jaylines Lime and Grape coloured Mercedes Benz 709D when they just put it into service in the previous operators livery - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...6884921242
Blackpool Palladium Livery looks like they just used undercoat for the livery - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...7779126285
Blackpool Metro Coastline Pool Livery version 1 (Mustard) also on loan to Arriva North East - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...1884391608
National Express West Midlands / Coventry new livery (again the obsession with grey) - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...1974364534
Nexus Bus / GCT livery (suppose it matches the tape that keeps the buses together and yes the 4x4 is towing it) - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...1058743001
There is plenty more subject to taste, then there's a few questionable advert liveries.

In terms of questionable advert liveries, the latest Co-op advert looks like it was just created in MS paint in 5 minutes. https://www.flickr.com/photos/quomaneast...JC-2kZamPe

You definitely don't like grey mind. Personally I think the two grey liveries look quite smart there, don't mind them at all.
We've had a fair share up here tbf. Magic Roundabout and Pronto being the two that stand out for GNE but this from Arriva tops them - https://www.flickr.com/photos/hhhumber/3551393815 imo or this from Rural Link which looks like they were drunk - https://www.flickr.com/photos/wanderer30/48692775726
Didn't one of Durham operators put GNE's ex Mini Metro Solo's straight out branded up aswell - Scarlett Band rings a bell.
RE: Voltra 2
I kinda like the Palladium livery that Blackpool have.
Absolutely detest the tram livery mind….

And one they didn't even complete: https://flic.kr/p/Sxe63j
It was Scarlet Band that had the Metrocentre Mini's in full livery: https://flic.kr/p/2iBoTc8
Argubly looked worse after debranding: https://flic.kr/p/2jq6CA5
One even seems to be reverting back to that livery atm
Not a big fan of grey liveries, just looks totally dull much of the time, don't mind the Nat Ex Platinum's though especially the electric examples, Rural Link however: https://flic.kr/p/2kQN6MQ

Forgot about those Rural Link buses, they're just a joke of a company though tbh, surprised they lasted as long as they did. Like the destination of just 'Farm' aswell guess it's too much work to put the Whitehouse part in.
Yeah thought it was them, mind I'm surprised GoAhead don't remove the branding first or at least do what Arriva do and spray paint lines through them so they're pretty much forced to repaint it. It's not the first GoAhead bus to be lingering around in branding, the X Lines coaches are about now and I can't see why anyone would want a bus with the branding.

The destination on that B6BLE flicked between stuff, forgot what it said prior to flicking onto just Farm, likely included Stannington in there somewhere.
Problem with removing lots of vinyls like on the above example is it often damages the paintwork, Arriva weren't keen to debrand the ex Yorkshire E400's for ages for fears of damaged paintwork, GNE took much the same action by running Citaros in full Bluestar livery until they got their turn to be repainted into corporate livery.

If anyone wants a laugh, you should see this attempt from cowboy op GRS Travel in the West Midlands, I'm sure one of the local enthusiasts said they used blackboard paint - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...0744198486
To be honest, I find grey liveries dull, I don't mind if it's a lighter metallic grey / silver like the current Cobalt Clipper livery. As a photographer of buses, I do find it more appealing to photo a bus that is well kept and smartly presented regardless of the liveries. I still photo the messy / bad stuff as variety is the spice of life, and sometimes you end up with a funny photograph or two.....
For example this Solo in Devon (which once ran in the North East with Veolia Durham) where the repanelling had gone terribly wrong - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...0719747847 - Just to add this was the bus that would take me from Totnes to Plymouth around every random village in between including driving through a beer garden of a pub because the village streets were so narrow.
This was the pub, the Ships Inn in the village of Ugborough - https://www.google.com/maps/@50.3866788,...312!8i6656
