Bought several in the window, but none of them have scored yet!

If Yanga Mbiwa is going, hopefully there is someone arriving.

Reading about Coates - Poyet turned down the chance to get Micah Richards, in favour of his Coates. Backed by the board too!

Bad move IMO. We're left with useless Taylor for cover.

I thought Taylor was a fav of the Newcastle fans?

He's a knob. Can't stand him to be honest. Too much of a liability.
Window has shut!

Teams can still confirm players, due to late deals filtering through

He will go down as being another mercenary, blinded by pound notes

I remember going upto SJP a few years ago to get a shirt signed for the youth group I volunteered for, when I got to Steven Taylor I said to him 'next time you see 20 Lambert and Butler in the penalty dont trip over them like you have been took out by a sniper' he did not look amused at me being cheeky, but Steve Harper and Collocini started pissing themselves laughing as I walked away

An excellent read re Pardew and his man management ? ⚽
Just been talking to my Dad about LVG and Manchester United and what there starting 11 will be, personally I don't think a 3-5-2 would work due to the Players he has brought in, and only way it could possibly work is by playing a 4-3-1-2, Here is my line up below.

GK: De Gea
RB: Rafael
CB: Jones/Evans
LB: Shaw
RM: Mata
CM: Herrera
LM: Di Maria
CAM: Rooney
ST: Van Persie/Falcao

Brilliant!

Also, if you haven't seen it yet - watch The Damned United if you get a chance

SJP in full pelt, live on Tyne Tees, 6-0 up at half time and not even Roger Thames could spoil it!

Just wish the link had the guaranteed Hardisty Cycles advert included!

If it does happen it shows that you cant always buy success...

Relatives of two Newcastle United fans killed in the MH17 air disaster are visiting rivals Sunderland after supporters raised more than £33,000.

"There will be 12 representatives from both families going down there and two or three of us will be presented to the crowd so we can thank them for what they have done."

Sunderland drew 2-2 today with Spurs
Newcastle got beat 4-0 off Southampton
Gateshead won 1-0
Haven't read the Newcastle match reports - but going by the vitriol shown on twitter, it was terrible.

Broke this seasons International Stadium cherry today - haven't been able to get to previous games for a variety of reasons.

Mills has kept the same formation as last years, but they are lacking the zip and drive they had when Maddison and Marwood were playing.

It may have been different in the games Jon Shaw was playing, but there was something lacking today.

Aye, saw it late last night.

Lost his hair/ponytail too. Even though he has lost a testicle - that can be hidden and nobody needs to know.
Loose your hair and everyone knows something is going on.

Hoping Jonas and everyone else suffering with that horrible disease, can make a recovery and live a long and prosperous life.
Club statement on Jonas.

Really hope he comes through and gets to play in a black and white shirt again. I feel so far away from the club these days, but it'd be a great shame not to see that again. He may not be the most technically gifted player we've ever had, but he's always one to put 100% in. Get well soon.

Me too. I think he will pull through to as it's very treatable and the outcome is excellent.

I seen him on the News tonight...

Jonas is instantly recognisable by his hairstyle/ponytail, not so without his mop

Got to say I admire him for going public about it, it is not something I find easy to discuss, I can be quite childish when the topic is the cock and balls

Although his position is becoming increasing untenable, I still feel a little sympathetic towards the plight of Alan Pardew.

When he eventually leaves, I think the next manager (whomever it may be) will struggle just as much as Pardew.

If I were a manager without a club, I wouldn't touch the Newcastle job. It's a poisoned challis.

Still, Pardew has nothing to complain about. If he gets sacked, there's a lot of compensation to forward to.
Has anyone heard this about Hangelaand and Magath at Fulham?
