They are just as bad as Newcastle at the minute really.
Dave Beasant on the bench for Stevenage today. As in ex-Newcastle/England Dave Beasant...

Horrible news, my thoughts are with his family, friends and team-mates
QPR are in deep shit, all fault of there own though as in the last 4 Seasons theyve spent over £100m and been Relegated twice and Promoted twice, probably be able to make most of that if they sell the majority of their Squad.

Bloody hell, they've really clamped down on over spending.
Lets hope Sunderland or Newcastle don't go down!

A Sky Sports Q&A web page
An explanation as to why QPR face huge fine
Although it probably would not happen, the ultimate punishment if the fine is unpaid is being kicked out of football all together
Did anyone see the Swindon v Sheffield United score!!!
Swindon 5-5 Sheff Utd with eight different scorers!
Swindon won 7-6 on aggregate!
You have to love the play offs
Well done to Eden Hazard after winning another award
Did anyone watch the thing on BBC1 last night about the Bradford Fire?
Only caught the last few minutes, but very interesting.

There is the link. Worth a watch
Saw something on the news last night, a policeman said they actually know and identified who dropped the fag end...
Must be horrible for the person knowing his fag end was responsible for the deaths of 56 people

It must have been an extract from this programme.
They interviewed the copper and he explained the tale.
The guy has died now - apparently he was visiting from Australia.
According to the guys family, he never told them it was him. Just that he knew where the fire started and how he tried pouring coffee on to it.

Are you old enough to remember it?
I did a bit stewarding at Hartlepool when I was 16, we did a bit training around various aspects of stewarding...One of the topics discussed was Bradford, we were shown a real time video of it...
It was about 90 seconds to take hold and within 5 minutes the whole was alight, quite scary

Aye, I can remember it happening. Heysel was just a few weeks later on if I remember correctly. We were on holiday when that happened.
Scary to think how quickly the fire took hold at Valley Parade.
Same here. Did stewarding at SJP 13-14 years ago as a second job and we were shown it there too.
The wooden stand at SJP was taken down in the late 80's and replaced with the first version of the Milburn Stand. However, Roker Park still had their wooden stand until they moved to the SOL.

Didn't Roker have 2 wooden sides, Upper Clock Stand and Upper Main Stand...Both Paddocks down the side were concreted.
Must have been an awful time for football, Bradford and Heysel about 18 days apart, Then Hillsborough in '89...Which is one of my first memories of football as a wee 6/7 yr old...
Heysel anniversary is a fortnight on Friday

No idea - just remember the Clock Stand being wooden and where the gaps would have been - they had been sealed up.
That whole spell, was one of the reasons I was never allowed to go to a live game.
Eventually got there when things started to quieten down. Then Hillsborough happened a few months later.
