Adam's was from 59 yards out

I heard Zamora's was too.
You'll have to watch it on Match of the Day Smile

I heard Ozil's and Giroud's were decent to
If anyone is going to win an award for goal of the season, it was to Kevin Saint-Luce for his super strike today for Gateshead v Grimsby. He picked the ball up on half way ran past 5 and smashed it in the top left past the keeper! Sheer class.

It was an outstanding game and a great day, any Heed fan that wasn't there I sympathise for you because it was fantastic. Only downside was the Grimsby fans being usual dickheads (so much so we had to be escorted to the ground, and had a police escort out of the town on the coach because someone tried to brick it) But it was one hell of a match.
@Tom I forgot to add my predictions this week Sad

@Lee I bet Charlie Adams goal will beat anything from this weekend Wink

I disagree. Adam shouldn't have been allowed to score from there - poor goalkeeping. Rooney's goal was pure technique.

Well...Alan Shearer, Ruud Gullit and a Match of the Day poll says differently...I would put Rooneys goal ahead of Charlie Adam...Nobody should be allowed to score from distances like that, Courtois should never have been that far out, Just like Neil Sullivan should not have been when Beckham scored against Wimbledon in 1996.

Wayne Rooney annoys me sometimes, he is an excellent player, he is going to go on and smash Bobby Charltons national team record and will probably surpass Peter Shiltons caps record, yet he has never been extra special at Int'l Level
Harry Kane has been named as the Tottenham captain for today's match away at Burnley.

Not sure if that's the best decision, if I'm honest, we'll see what happens though!
Small win for Spanish side Real Madrid:
Come on Burnley!!!!
Half time Burnley 0-0 Tottenham
Here are the Sunderland vs Newcastle starting 11's
Full time:
Burnley 0-0 Tottenham
Can't help but think having Niall Quinn commentating on the derby will provide a biased view, if you're going to do that at least make sure the other geezers a Geordie!

Loved how Defoe was wiping tears away haha
What a goal.

Indeed...

What was Newcastle's defence doing, if his marker was doing his job, Defoe should not have got to it imo

Yeah. I am a Newcastle supporter but you've got to admire that goal
I see they've taken Defoe off and sent on that guy who scored in the last Derby.
5 in a row!

We were shocking.
If we play like that against Liverpool god help us.

Johnson had scored in the last 3 or 4 derbies before today

It's pathetic

Carver saying pre-match that the players were ready for it, and knew what it meant, was clearly all balls.

I woke up this morning, and wasn't even exited for the game. We've not played anywhere near okay since Pardew left...
