I may or may not have had anything to do with it's allocation today!

So thats a NO then....and I hope the engine was switched off whilst you were out of the cab Tongue

Of course! It replaced Pulsars 1454 (which then went back on the same board) and then 1452 (which went back to depot as I had 4508 til end of the day)

It was pretty good, better than I expected to be honest. Was worried it may have been a bit 'tired' but it was as good as I remember B10BLEs (drove 21141/43/44/50/56 at Stagecoach)

Yeah, we believe you Wink :p

Here it is at Easington (the further south and east it has been in service so far, until it makes an appearance on the 29a) prior to its final trip of the day - the 1915 5 back to Middlesbrough

RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings
7481 (I think only just saw it could have been 7480) was on the X21/22 earlier, although I was in Bedlington for the next two hours and didn't see it return?

Will have been 7481 - 7480 is now at Durham
RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings
Also, forgot to say this yesterday, X10/11 branded 7615 was on the X13 as well as MAX Gemini 7624 however as it's Blyth these aren't rare or odd, simply not what they should be

It's absolutely no good. I'm not on a vandetta against Arriva because GNE can just be as bad from some of their depots but Blyth should try and stick to their allocations more.

Just asking but what's happening with 7514 to 7521?

Guessing that a few will be refurbished for the X14?
RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings
Was in Redcar yesterday and Saltburn today so naturally I have a few Rare/Odd workings couretesy of Redcar:

Yesterday:
4071 and 4715 on the 81/81A
1105 and 1737 on the 22/64
4044 and 4094 on the 63
4717 on the X4 (as mentioned above)

Today:
1739 on the X3/X3A

Temsas on the 81 aren't unusual - three out of four were the last time I was down. Similarly minis on the 22/64 and Prestiges on the 63.

Officially, what should be allocated?

According to the list at the start of this thread, Omnicities and Temsas, no idea how official that is however

(15 Aug 2014, 7:54 am)Dan wrote Officially, what should be allocated?

22/64/64A - Dart SLF and Prestiges (so both 1105 and 1737 are odd workings as Redcar officially has no Minibus workings)
63 - Temsa Avenue (so 4044 and 4094 are officially odd but given it's Redcar, it's more or less a regular wrong type working)
81/81a - 2 boards down for OmniCity, 2 for Temsa - so 4071 is odd but 4715 isn't
RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings
4649 on X93 (Redcar board) and 4508 on 21A

I don't get why ANE didn't do them 8 for Sapphire with 7522 to 7528 plus 1 or 2 57 reg spares. For a premium service, the 09 reg examples would've been a better choice. Unless the only thing that I can think off is that the cost of changing the seating would've went through the roof with the 57 reg examples already having high back seating.

There are minis on the 22/64 EVERY day so I don't consider it an unusual working regardless of what the board might say. One Redcar board is down for A B10BLE and they don't even have any!

Minis on anything BUT 94/95/96, S1 or 171 are odd workings. Doesn't matter if it happens on a daily basis, they are still not meant to be allocated there. Unless you happen to have a more up-to-date list than I do regarding Vehicle allocation to boards, then there's no B10BLE allocation yet on 22/64/64a.

One 64 is down for a B10BLE on the latest boards. Depends how you define odd, I don't consider something that happens every day as odd. Redcar has a mini allocation so they have to use them somewhere.
RE: Arriva North East - Rare and Odd Workings
Some MPD based odd workings today as...

220 is on the 6 and
1711 is on the 75/76
