1421 still tracking for Stockton. Maybe it's just there because of 1573 being at Redcar's Depot.

 I herd their is plans this afternoon to switch over so 1421 return back it'd home depot

Judging by the recent picture of 4711 it rear lights are off and the bonnet is hanging off. Surely this is a withdrawn bus

 I herd it's withdrawn  from a few people   more part's missing  like u siad light's  eginge flapping dangling indicates one thing

I would imagine it is withdrawn but the question is, what will replace it?

Well, I'm surprised 1421 is at Stockton still and 1573 was seen on the X4. Don't know why they haven't been swapped yet, unless that's a permanent thing. Just kinda strange.

Yeah 1573 isn't permanent

Anyone know what is going on with 1573 and why it's still at Redcar instead of 1421. Are they re-trialing the Streetlites on the X4 now that the Stockton EX Wright Engineer did work to them or is that still temporarily there. Just doesn't make any sense because both 1573 and 1421 are operational.

To be fair I wouldn't be surprised if it's not replaced at all. The other depots have already lost numerous buses with nothing being replaced (4x Enviro 400 MMC and the gas buses at Darlington).

They've also kept 7424 aswell.

In fairness the 4 MMCs were replaced at Ashington, but by wholly unsuitable vehicles in 1462/97/38/9.

Aye no arguments, came at a cost for Durham and Darlington though. It'll be interesting to see what on earth is actually meant to run the X21/X22 if they do reinstate the frequency since there's numerous vehicles at Blyth currently, noticed a Streetlite and 1404 have ventured South now aswell and the Solo's are being their usual selves.

Not sure if it was a tracking error but noticed 2853 done it's first run in months the other day to die (again). Feel for the engineering teams having to deal with such crap. I'm sure the bosses will all being driving in similar aged vehicles - not that they should have one.

I don't think it helps that theyve got so many of the same buses at the same age, I think not for ANE as they seem to have a good mix but i think its going to massively affect Deptford were its either Streetlites or Deckers really thats the choice. And all the streetlites are within 2 years of each other so when a issue arises its going to cause catastrophic problems, when one thing happens its just a knock on like the Dest Displays on the Streetlites at Deptford is attriocus the amount og missing pixels/not working at all

Could you explain to me how destination displays at Deptford are related to Arriva's Redcar depot?

It's the same in practice, laods of vehicles of the same type/same age suffereing with breakdowns and issues at the same time.

I think I asked this before but can't remember if there was an answer but does anyone know what is wrong with 1427? Hasn't been out in service for 2 months. I imagine it needs a new engine or something big done to it?

I've seen a few things suggesting 1573 is at Redcar to replace a possible withdrawn 4711. Anyone know if that's possibly true? And if that's the case, why is 1421 still at Stockton? Because at the moment, technically Redcar are down by 1 vehicle. Unless 1573 is currently replacing 1427 which is broke. Unsure on why the Lite is still at Redcar.

What's the issue with 2857 not tracked since end of April?

Currently redcar buses thst haven't tracked in a while

1427- awaiting new engine 13/3
1446 6/5
2857 24/4
4711-possible withdrawal 4/1
4720 20/4
7401 -needing rear axel work 2023
7405 6/5

Anyone know what is tracking as 7405 on the X4?

I know tracking isn't the most reliable around but have Redcar seriously already broke 7579* and 7581. Pretty impressive if so.

** Aware it tracked this morning but it seems to have been stuck at Guisborough for 12 minutes before stopping which generally meant it went no-where.

Edit (4pm):
Add 7580 to the list aswell now as that hasn't left Whitby and has been replaced by one of the DB300's which appears to be double tracking but that might just be a ticket machine swapover but whatever it is currently on a wild goosechase via Redcar depot.

I am told it was 1420.

7609 replaced by 1573 for the last few laps of the Park & Ride tonight. Knew it was too good to be true for those two to last a few days together!
