A little more flexibility with the route and timetable would be a help in summer. Bringing back the short working Whitby- Fylingthorpe section would take some pressure off, as Robin Hoods Bay gets big loadings at times.
Then they could have some expresses missing out RHB perhaps. Passengers from Teesside are going to either Whitby or Scarborough, I see no reason why all the X93s and X94s have to go through Robin Hoods Bay.
I'm not sure they would add much extra time as the savings would be made up by not having city buses stuggling to get up hills everywhere.

There was one day or two days where all the B9TL’s were on the X93 a couple of weeks ago except obviously 7401. Some Didn’t last long before some started having problems again.
It’s got to the point of like why 7401 is still there but there must be some hope for it. Same with the 2 x93/94 branded ALX’s. This upcoming summer will be very interesting at Redcar if stuff doesn’t improve.
1355. A few people have said it won’t be coming back. It needed an MOT but apparently the chassis is rotten. 1351 has been having a lot of breakdowns too. Also with regards to the other E300s which were meant to go to Darlington apparently, there sat in Durham depot doing nothing. Seemed like a waste to send them up here but then again it was free as they were cascaded from Arriva North West.

I didn't really make a note of any fleet numbers, but saw there were a couple of branded deckers out on the X93 when I was out and about at the weekend.
The X4 was a hotch-potch of whatever Redcar could fit under Brotton bridge. .

Believe 4717 was involved in an incident today in Redcar where it lost its wing mirror

A solo is near enough on the X4 everyday. Another one is on it today.
Along with the X93, they just throw whatever is available. They’ve got one DB300 and 2 Pulsars on it today.

Yeh, seems to have stopped in Redcar this morning. Should be an easy fix though I would imagine. Should be back on the road in no time.

yestaday 7403tracking as 1426 some people need to do slightly more theory on here from the comments above some are incorrect such as 7403

Don’t know about his comment on the 7403. But, there was one or two days in January where all the B9’s were out except 7401 and then some started having problems again.
It is correct that 1351 has been having faults and been took off service a few times. Note that it does come back into service either later in the day or a day or 2 after. Probably little problems at most.

Guessing it’s gonna be for the summer for the X93. One of the ALX’s must not be returning then I would imagine. They just need binning all together in my opinion.
Redcar/Whitby have 5 Deckers out of service at the moment. I know a lot of people say it’s because of their engineering work. But if that’s the case wouldn’t they replace the engineers if it was that bad?

Now there nothing being tracked on the x2 since quarter past 1

There's no-one to replace them with. There's a massive engineering shortage aswell.
Shocking sending buses from Darlington, which has capacity problems on certain routes as it is, to bail out an incompetent depot.

I do think Redcar get it wrong with what they allocate to what routes. I know they like to switch things up but they should be allocating certain buses to certain routes which are appropriate and can prove themselves on said route. Like why is 1420,1421,1424 and 1446 on the 63. They could be on the X2/X3 and 81 Rota. Also does anyone know the PVR of the X2/X3/64/64A rota?

Advertising on board the vehicles for engineers currently.

if a decker is needed at another depo then Darlington have been nice enough to give a helping hand

I believe it’s 9 on the X3 boards?!
There’s been various ones missing at some points today, spotted a 4 hour gap in X2’s from Middlesbrough this afternoon which is not ideal!
There was 4 63s missing earlier, but by the end of the day I think there was 11 out (PVR 13) and nearly all services have had gaps today, including the 62, X4 etc

7535 is a short term transfer. Nothing more. It isn't here for the summer as suggested.

Define long term. Roughly how long do we estimate 7535 is going to stay

Okay, but I can assure you it's not.
Purely temporary, a few days at best. If it is needed long term, then it will be swapped back over for something more appropriate and/or will leave Darlington short, which is not a long term option either.

Definitely not a long term transfer was taken off the 62 in Middlesbrough bus station awaiting transfer back to Darlington

To be fair they will wait till summer timetables start and see what needs transferring around. Hopefully some 400MMCs will be back again along the Yorkshire Coast.
