Won't miss 1564 that for sure
1569 seems to be OK one the last time I was on it x66

Yeah I seen 53 on the 63 this morning wounder if it will lasts longer than last time
Is this true 4700 is now withdrawn lots of people having been saying this so I thought I would ask on here to see if anyone knows the answer and obviously replacement will be a ex northwest pulsar if its correct about 4700
Remember seen this one for the very first time at the old Redcar bus station when it was on trail run

If it is withdrawn then I'm guessing 1379 (3006) might be it's replacement but not 100% sure

I'd imagine 1379 is just up here as whatever is meant to be is 1386 is knackered down in Liverpool and they just wanted to finish the swap, rather than messing around delaying it til it's ready. It was due up here in the future anyway.

I was told 3027 (1386) is having chassis repairs in Bangor apparently

Aye I seen it was down in Bangor, not sure what it was doing there for though.

Spoke to someone from down there it definitely will be coming it's getting some repairs and other little things done
Why then doesn't stockton keep 1379 and redcar get 1386 saves the swapping
(05 Feb 2025, 9:56 pm)Ryland wrote [ -> ]Why then doesn't stockton keep 1379 and redcar get 1386 saves the swapping
Because Redcars will be 1370-1379 & Stocktons are 1380-1389 & with it being 1386 it’s in the Stocktons list but anyways 1379 was down for Redcar anyways so when 3027 (1386) comes 1379 (3006) will move to Redcar

Hasn't stopped things like this happening before - 7538/40 for example, 7540 was meant to be for Durham and 38 for Darlington but they ended up being swapped due to an error with the company employed to apply the branding vinyl putting 'Sapphire 7' on 7540 by mistake. More than likely now is 3027/1386 will now go to Redcar in place of 1379 which remains at Stockton.

Well I've been told that 3027 (1386) is coming to Stockton so it will let 1379 (3006) go to Redcar like it was planned to.
1439 broken down in whitby bus station
(08 Feb 2025, 2:31 pm)Ryland wrote [ -> ]1439 broken down in whitby bus station
Indeed. It was replaced by 2857. I think Redcar actually have sufficient vehicles available to replace others. All the Solos and Deckers are operational which is unusual. They've been choosing to rotate which deckers get services and which ones stay at the depot. Same with the Solos Kind of surprise for Redcar. 1426 is still out of service. Quite shocked with 1439 as thats usually reliable X4 Workhorse. Hopefully its just a minor problem.
7579 as returned and also tracking on the x93

Yep, I saw it this morning heading up past Slapewath towards Whitby on the A171 just before 8AM. I then saw it again at the Bus Station. Good job it came back as 2 B9's broke down on the 62 today.
I tell ya what, Redcar have been improving a lot mechanically speaking as of recently. All their Deckers and Solos are active. A Temsa or 2 are off the road but nothing major. Pulsars 1398 and 1426 are out also. Not too bad to be honest. Now that 7579 is back too, hopefully Redcar can operate the summer season X93/94 and P & R successfully with full capacity this year. I guess we'll see.

Wouldn't surprise me. They haven't even got a replacement for 4700 yet though. Hopefully with all the recently withdrawn Temsas, they can get some spare parts for 4712 if its broken.
4716 is also off aswell not tracked in over a week.
I heard the same about 4712.
What's the situation with 1426 is that coming back to lige any time soon. 1398 what's going on there. These new buses need to hurry up

Hopefully 1379 will be 4700 replacement when 1386 (3027) arrives at Stockton from Merseyside because it’s currently back at Merseyside so it might come down to Stockton on Sunday
2866 is dual tracking on the x93 and 96.
Appears to have a decker on the 95
And a solo on the x4

Seems to be standard on weekends at the mo.
Noticed one of the remaining Temsas looking forlorn on Marske Mill Lane last night.
Driver looked sick of his life.

To be fair a Solo is probably enough capacity aswell, can't imagine there's much demand in either direction in the middle of the winter.

You may be surprised at demand in the middle of winter.
Is 4712 confirmed to be withdrawn

Seems fo be quite a few pulsar off the road at the moment.
1426
1448
1449
And a few deckers. Soon me almost park and ride time let's hope the deckers are more useful.
Any updates on when the Pulsars and envora are due to come to Redcar
