1430 1373 7579 are only on loan to Durham from Redcar Whitby
7579 and 7580 were at Blyth all too briefly! I enjoyed having a modern bus on my local routes for a change. A bus capable of more than 50mph, and having working heating! I look forward to the new batch of these vehicles arriving at Blyth.

I know 7579 and 7580 were only on loan for repaints but they have only ever sent 1 Pulsar away at a time for that. There is 2 left now, 1504 and 1505 12 plate, guess the older ones won't be done. They should re do 1499 12 plate, including the interior on that one as it is awful and not fit for purpose.

Stockton are getting 18 brand new E200MMCs, Redcar aren’t getting any new E200MMCs they’re getting new E400MMCs for the X93/4, I was also told that Tees Valley are due 24 new Evoras so I think they will be split between Stockton, Darlington & Redcar maybe

Partially funded by Tees Valley the Evora's I believe someone said aswell

I'd assume if some are going to Darlington they'll be for the X66/X67. Can't see Tees Valley funding buses to serve Co. Durham or N. Yorkshire.

Actually Redcar are due more Evoras  there  be goring on the 63s boards which are linked with the 5a working
I wonder what's going to happen to the B9's because if Redcar are getting BRAND new E400MMC's for the X93, then I would assume they will get a full set of 6 to replace all of the B9's. Also, an extra 2 E400MMC's are going to Whitby from Durham for the P and R Contract.

Also, Redcar have 4x 72 plate E400MMCs already. They could have just left Durham with the MMC's or gave to Darlo and kept the B9's for the P&R or used the 72 plate ones for it. Seems abit of a waste to get rid of some good vehicles when they still have a tonne of life left in them. Are they planning on making the 62 a full Double Decker service? I think with a little tinkering of the route, there is potential to make a Double Decker Route from Redcar to Middlesbrough.

In regards to Single Deck vehicles, I don't think Stockton need anything more bar the 18x E200MMCs at the moment.

The problem is the P&R starts before the new buses so they need something.

No-one knows what's happening but I wouldn't be surprised if the B9's took the spare role and the 72 Plates head back to Ashington since they're desperate for more buses and they're getting nothing extra (new ones appear to be replacing the 17 Plates out).

Stockton badly needs investment more than those E200's though imo. The 5/5A, 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 17A and 17B are all busy routes and deserve something better than 15/16 year Pulsar's on them. Unsure if there's enough here to replace all those though.

Just because it mentions on Facebook doesn’t mean it’s true, plans can change

The new diesel vehicles are not funded in any form by the local authority. Only the electrics are.

The E200s are confirmed to be going to Stockton. The order is already in place and they are due in the summer - along with the new double deckers for Northumberland and the 6 due for Redcar.

The Evoras are currently not confirmed.

Aye that's fair, must have been a bad rumour.

Assuming any investment will be for the 63 though, if there's anything extra, as that route is crying for something better and has been neglected for years now.

It was mentioned that Redcar might be getting 62/63 plate newer pulsars maybe for the 63 possibly, not sure if it’s 1514-1523 but not sure if it’s true or not it’s what I heard

Haven't heard that one, be a shame if it didn't get something. It's arguably the flagship route down there and it's just been ignored for years and blighted with cancellations and now a temporary timetable reduction to boot.

Any 62/63 Plate Pulsars would be ideal for the likes of the X2/X3/62/64/64A which let's be honest probably aren't on the top of the list for investment or 28/28A/X22 at Stockton.
Be really good if the 63 was to benefit from the introduction of some Evoras 4510 has been working the route lately and it's performance is amazing. Good to see also that the NSA was working.
Was driving behind 1423 this mornjng. Often thought this was a speedy bush but no it was quite limp 30 in a 50 zone.
What's been tracking as redcar spare today
Anyone out there got any news on what's expected in terms of new fleet over the coming months? I understand that 7401-6:are going to be replaced on the X93/4; Whitbys Park and Ride are getting replacement deckers; and I heard somewhere that there are Evoras and E200MMc's heading this way?

Six new E400MMCs for Whitby for the X93
Two of Durham’s E400MMCs due to transfer for the Park & Ride (originally listed as 7594 and 7595 however there may be a change in which two move)
Only other new diesel vehicles known for the Durham County side is the 18 E200MMCs destined for Stockton
A fact that Stockton need some replacements for their ageing stock of mostly cascaded Pulsars and the dreadful Streetlites. I wonder how the 200 MMc's will cope on the 5/5a?

Whoops! Should have gone to the Stockton thread. Sorry.
Somebody is taking the mickey when allocating vehicles.1436 on the 81's ! Seriously! It's struggling on the flat and Yearhy Bank was embarrassing.

They are the more powerful 6.7 litre version, so they should be completely fine.

Although, 10 more Evoras are coming too, location unknown.
1425 broken down in Marske high street. Rear suspension looks to have gone

Also 1425 is dual tracking but is definitely broken down
Could someone, when they have time, let me know Dormanstown/Redcar current PVR please. Thanks.
4505 has been debranded from the X4/X4A including with the Yorkshire Coast Connections branding aswell
Doesn't anyone answer questions on here??

My latest calculations below - pretty sure these are right based off current timetables/running boards using bustimes.org but someone may correct me if I'm wrong.

62 Middlesbrough - Redcar / PVR 4 / Wright Pulsar
63 Middlesbrough - Redcar / PVR 12 / Wright Pulsar
|- 5A Middlesbrough - Lingdale
81 Marske - Redcar - Guisborough / PVR 2 / Wright Pulsar
X2 Middlesbrough - New Marske / PVR 10 / Wright Pulsar
|- X3 Middlesbrough - Lingdale
|- 64/64A Middlesbrough - Grangetown
X4/X4A Middlesbrough - Loftus - Whitby / PVR 5 (+3 at Whitby) / Volvo Evora
Total: 33

You asked if someone could let you know 'when they have time' and then complained about not getting a response about 24 hours later - if you want to find out more quickly next time then you could always try calculating it yourself Wink
No need for the sarcasm. The whole concept of a forum, to my understanding is for members to discuss things, ask questions. It is noticeably that I'm not the only one that asks and doesn't get any response. It's also noticeable that members don't contribute as much as they, perhaps, should. Thanks Redcar Depot!!
