Got to sample new Stagecarriage service 83 between Thornaby and Yarm then bagged Cadet 1912 on the 7 back to Stockton even if it meant waiting an extra few minutes in Yarm and I finally managed to get a ride on a Stagecoach Trident in the form of 17028 on the 13 between Middlesbrough and Stockton although that journey was ruined slightly by someone competing with Fozz's claim of empting the top deck by stinking it out! Also managed to get a few photos of things I needed, was especially happy to get some shots of Stagecoach Volvo Olympain 16836: https://flic.kr/p/AA3HqV

Which 83 did you get off, as me and my pal were photoing it in Yarm at around 2pm.

An hour ahead of you, jumped off in Yarm around 12:55. The 82/83 seemed to be the enthusiast bus today, seemed most of the passengers and even the driver were bus enthusiasts.
Found at load of bus photo's I took in the late 1980s at my parents' house last night.

They include Andersons of Westerhope, Rochester & Marshall, Moordale, Primrose and Atkinsons.

Surprised my parents had kept them.

On the Accu Weather app on my phone it is saying sunny for where I live, but highs of only 8 degrees. Can't see any snow, so hopefully that's the way it will be.
There's another one!

Bit of Internet smarts needed, folks... It's not appropriate to stick a map on a public forum which shows where your house is!
Gonna try out my new phones camera today...

Got the S5, 16MP Camera...

I wanted the S6 Edge, but 3 wouldn't give it to me for less than 60 quid a month

Gonna try and photo somewhere new today...Am feeling brave

Well the day has finally arrived! I'm off to Germany for another visit to Cologne and Dusseldorf - back on Sunday
Looking forward to going back, taking my mum to the Christmas markets and just a general quick taster of Germany!
Fly out this afternoon from Leeds to Düsseldorf with Jet2 Big Grin
Well, after late finishes most of last week, this week has been a god-send. 4 out of the 5 shifts so far this week finished before or at 0830, only one day when beyond that (and only by about 10 minutes). Indeed, I've been at home since half 8 this morning - I believe I walked into the house the moment I stopped getting paid Big Grin However, the shifts are now starting earlier (midnight starts, same tonight/the morning/whatever it is). And an additional plus side (and annoyance in some ways) is that a possible Sunday shift has been cancelled this week given a day of rest. Shame it means I lose two weeks of double-time shifts (I have plans for next Sunday)
