Not going to bother with Stagecoach as I'm not really interested enough to warrant the time to create a list for it.

Here's a random page in the Go North East section of my photos notebook, tick means I have a photo (obviously!) and if there is a triangle it means I need a new photo of that bus where for example the See It, Do It, Sunderland Citaro's many of the photos are from when they were either unbranded or Laser branded.

I'm such a nerd!

I'm not going to great lengths to get photos of each bus, I'll upload pretty much any photo whenever really, I'm not that bothered that I have many buses still unticked.

The only Stagecoach bus that has really grabbed my attention (beyond the first sighting of the Sunderland gas buses) is the green sofa bus, in Newcastle. Not seen that one for a while. I wonder if it's back to just plain green livery.

Edit - this is a different vehicle in a different place, but the livery is certainly eyecatching!

Annoyingly after I uploaded that, I realised that I picked a page pull of errors! Also I made another mistake, it's actually 292 photos as I forgot to include National Express 7123.
And I have now found the buses in scrapyards blog. You have no idea how happy this will make big'un

Unforgiveable!

Randomly just had an Arriva driver message me on Facebook complimenting a photo I took yesterday with him driving. Smile

I once had a GNE driver demand I take a photo down off Facebook, I did as he wanted as I did not want to get dragged into an argument as I used to see him all the time and did not want to create a problem, it was not one of my favourites anyway and I did take it on Nexus property in Park Lane(naughty I know...It would be a few weeks later when I got pulled up in PLI by a Nexus man) 😀

If that happened to me I wouldn't know what to do.

For the last few weeks and months I've been having endless hand gestures and face hiders, thankfully in the last few days I've gone back to the enthusiast friendly drivers, rode 5398 on the 15 (which for the record performed well on the route including that hill just after where the 15A turns off to head through Delves Lane) anyway, the driver who took over the service at Consett gave me a thumbs up, later in the day I had this driver on the 6 https://flic.kr/p/Ea6FHD (think he was being friendly?) and I also got a thumbs up from a driver on the 5A yesterday afternoon when I took a photo near Newton Aycliffe Rail Station after I got off the train from Darlington.

The driver in question will have found the photo after I posted it on the Arriva UK Enthusiasts Facebook group, as of course being Facebook it shows my true identity although Jimmi is my nickname on Facebook.
Finally got off my hiney and took advantage of the Marriage Allowance.  4 minutes work and we're now £212 a year better off.

Only took me the thick end of a year to do it like!

Who said I wasn't proactive.....
Talking of face hiders. A First driver had his hand on his cab window to stop his face from being seen, but he kept peeking over his hand and when he drove past he took a good look at me, and I might have mouthed "fuck off" to him and then take a photo of his bus Big Grin

I had my camera off and around my neck up until he drove past haha
I'm in Blackpool!

Also I've just spotted a Palladium spec Volvo B7RLE/Plaxton Centro to get a photo of. I also spied a Volvo Olympian on the 42, sadly I don't know the route and there isn't time to head to Lancaster.
Managed to get all of the Castle Express Streetdecks today, not perfect photos, but all of them acceptable. I got...

6301 photoed outside where the depot used to be in Bishop Auckland.
6302 at Bishop Auckland Bus Station
6303 at Durham Road, Chester Le Street before it joins the A167.
6304 at North Road Roundabout in Durham.
6305 at Framwellgate Bus Gate
6306 at Clydesdale Lodge Roundabout
6307 at Tudhoe

Some good variety in locations too. I'll keep an eye out for them on Flickr.

Lucky you!. Ive got Friday Evening planned for this in Durham Bus Station.

Thing is I have the advantage of having a car. I decided to start at Bishop and work my way up. Only took me around 110 minutes. Was lucky getting 6301, had to hobble accross the car park to get a photo of it, I'm amazed it didn't completely blur as I only had seconds to turn on the camera and set up my shot.

6307 was almost ruined by traffic.

6304 took two attempts, my original attempt near the council offices blurred, so I drove down and parked in the loading bay (naughty me) on that roundabout for 2 minutes for it to exit North Road.

Out of all my photos 6303 was the worse one, but acceptable but not bad for the way the weather and light has been today. Will make another attempt when there's better weather.

Liking the choice of locations of photos. Just pleased it wasn't multiple shots in Chester-le-Street which most people seem to have gone for.

On Monday I took photos at:
Bishop Auckland Bus Station.
Bishop Auckland Market Place.
Tudhoe.
Durham, with viaduct in the background.
Framwellgate Moor.
Pity Me, including on the A167 on that big roundabout, got some strange looks whilst standing on that traffic island!
Chester-le-Street, just one or two shots whilst waiting for a ride on 6305 to Bishop Auckland.
West Pelton (for Nightingale Coaches 28C)

Managed to get 6303, 6304, 6305 and 6306. Think I got 6302 as well but I don't think that shot turned out well, oh well, there's still plenty time to sort that out!

Aye, I'll have to rely on Buses which trying to time it with the X21s is quite a pain because the last one leaves Eldon Square at 18:15 and I also want ot have a bit of time in Durham till the last X46 leaves ( Runs off the last X21 I believe ) so I'm expecting around 2 or 3 Streetdecks.

Must've been a pain trying to get them in the rain though.

I don't know, been seeing the place far too much in my Flickr feed. Nothing really wrong with it, I'm just bored of it now.

It's the same with any of the region's bus stations/main thoroughfares really.

Yeah... Just with it being the new StreetDeck's entering service, we'll probably be back to normal next week.

Get in! Never thought we'd get the likes of Rafa as our manager, at one point it looked like David moyes was coming Big Grin

David Moyes wouldn't have been great like - was good at Everton yes but Man U and Real Sociedad were a fail! Nigel Pearson was also an option but not sure he would have kept us up though he did with Leicester last year.

Rafa has a big task though considering the likes of Bournemouth and Swansea are now 8 points clear of the bottom 4. Next 2 games after Leicester are crucial! Sunderland then Norwich and I think Swansea. Must wins!! But for once a great choice as Newcastle and as manager this time not head coach! thank god we've scrapped that.
I am searching for my Mam for holidays to Costa Rica for her 40th birthday.

Dont forget the get out clause, if they go down, Rafa will walk
