Should have posted this yesterday but never mind.
Anyway, my tutor threw a mini party for us yesterday because it was the last Friday afternoon we'll have with her before we leave school forever and ever and ever and ever (we leave next Friday lunchtime). She ordered everyone a Domino's pizza each, brought in 8 bottles of non-alcoholic drink, gave all of us a card with a personal message and a bag of goodies each. It was really lovely of her.

I used to have a teacher like that, she used to take a group of us bowling or to Laser Quest every once in a while, the kind of teacher, despite the trouble I would cause, cared for me, I remember when I was young I tried to take my own life and was fighting for my life in ICU, when I went back to school, after I got lectured, embraced me with tears in her eyes, she made sure I completed my last year without a permanant exclusion...

We once managed to persuade our form tutor to take to McDonalds after competing in a botcha tournament.
Must point out botcha is boring as hell.
One thing made me laugh today...
My mate who is a muslim said to me...
Mate: Chunk*, you should convert to Islam
Me: Why
Mate: You can have up to 4 wives
My other chipped in with "Just remember, thats 4x more nagging
*Chunk was my teenage nickname [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]
Handful of us on the bus earlier going from Gateshead towards Sheriff Hill bank. Group of young lasses trying to be funny pressing the bell over and over for their stop. As no one was waiting at their intended stop at the top of the bank, the driver continued on to the bottom, and claimed the bell must not be working.
Nice walk back up the bank in this heat!
My Ingeus advisor telling me an application I just filled out was superb 'especially for someone who has no cofidence in filling them out normally'...
Here is hoping something comes my way soon [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]
Off to party for leavers shortly. It's also quite sad at the same time knowing it may be the last time I see some of my friends
At Uni in my unit 14, which is all Numeracy, i got a merit, for the essay and the activities part of the assignment.
Always struggled with Numeracy! =D
The rumor that a McDonalds is meant to be going in where the Arcade is at the bottom of Chester (next to B&Ms)

Great. More zero hour contracts, poor working conditions, and crap food. Just what the region needs.
4653 turning up instead of a leather seated example on the 685.

Thought you'd find that to be a blessing in disguise.

Likely that one of the other 3 is getting ready to head back from Belford on the X16

4653 is the fastest Scania Omni that I have travelled on not a bad bus at all.

Realising how little I spent yesterday afternoon.
Not sure what time we left, but got dropped off at 1.30.
A few different kebabs, as well as a few bottles of Stella (was 2 bottles for £2.50 - £1 per bottle after 6) and plenty of money left over

Off to the Tuns with some of my mates shortly. Don't know whether it's a good idea considering I've got exams straight after half term

Stay away from the Goat Curry and you will be fine!
The internal quality person who has a bee in her bonnet about everything I do, had egg on her face twice today.
Full of praise regarding some paperwork and had been telling everyone how good it was - but didn't realise it was mine
.
The feedback may have been different if she had known.
The external quality person who was about today, was full of praise for the work I had done, much to the disappointment of the internal person. Praising the standard and quality of it.
No idea why she has a grudge - it was there from the moment she started doing internal quality work and before we had met, so it obviously is something else apart from it being personal.
Either way, I have a smile on my face
Finding out that Dilston Bridge has reopened.
Had my last exam of the year today. Rest of the summer spent going around

Me in less than three weeks' time!
Receiving an email from one of our local operators with a full fleetlist to help with updates to the independents fleetlists
They've always been helpful with queries too, so I am always thankful for their emails.
A enjoying night with friends in Whitby, and still doing so.

Someone a few doors along from me was having one last night. Can't beat a good BBQ smell.

Yeah, I love the smell and the way it drifts in the air [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]

Shame my friends turned up as the weather turned but even so, a great way to relax and forget things
Not sure whether the following made me happy but it sure made me laugh.
While walking through Winlaton on my way to the dentist this morning I happened to bump into one of my old school friends. I explained to him that I was in a hurry but it was obvious he had something to tell me. He asked if I'd been on Facebook this morning to which I replied "No". He then proceeded to tell me that he woke up to a status this morning announcing he had died. I started to laugh and told him he looked quite well for someone who was dead.
