Sunderland AFC has completed the signing of defender Younes Kaboul from Tottenham Hotspur.
The former France international put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
I guess that earthquake happened then...

Creative Midfielder and another Striker are next on the agenda for us according to Twitter, think we should make a move for Charlie Austin from QPR although it looks like he will be joining scum.

Hope we get the players we need and no panic buys/loans, Austin would be a decent signing but like you said looks to be off to Newcastle.
Seen this on the Sport Bible Facebook page:
It appears that the Gateshead v Darlington game has rustled up quite a bit of interest, so I'll spread some Gateshead team news...
Malcolm Crosby has a fully fit squad, with James Marwood expected to be back in the line up. Trialists River Allan and Jordan Cranston are expected to start.

Wish I could be there...hope we murder the bastard's [emoji14]
Kidding Lee...hope it is a good game
#GatesheadFC have signed Torquay United striker Ryan Bowman ahead of tonight's game against Darlington, however, the striker is not going to feature.
GOAL!! Gateshead 1-0 Darlington 1883 (Jon Shaw 42')
GOAL!! Gateshead 2-0 Darlington 1883 (Jon Shaw 45')
Can I ask you something Lee...
Don't use 1883 when mentioning us please...That may be the teams playing name, but the majority of our fanbase absolutely hate being called Darlington 1883, we are simply Darlington...
The Reason why
When we got relegated in 2012, the club did not have the golden share that enables us to play and without it back in 2012, the FA gave us the quadruple relegation, they told us basically 'No Golden Share, No play football' The FA decided were a new entity, that Darlington F.C. went to the wall, when in fact we didn't really, when the 1883 Rescue Group bought the club, they took on the old debts and honoured them, but we came out of that period of Administration without a CVA being in place...Despite that, the FA said 'New Club', that is where 1883 comes from, that name was chose quick as there was not enough time to poll the fans on the new name so 1883 was decided upon.
We hate the 1883 bit, so will you drop it if you don't mind please

Sorry Fozz, I didn't mean to cause any offence at all, I get goal updates on my phone off the Gateshead Fan App even when I'm at a game, that way I can just copy and paste it off there. Sorry.

No offence taken mate, no problem at all, you may not have known the full story into how the 1883 name came about [emoji14]...
Didn't know Heed had a fan app

According to the Papers Andy Caroll is now out until October... hahahahahahaha
He is a fooking monster on Football Manager Handheld, pretty much won me everything on his own [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]
Mitrovic is a one for the future, he is only 20 or 21 and Newcastle will struggle to hold on to him if he does well, as he will no doubt attract the likes of Citeh and Chelsea
Mitrovic has signed for Newcastle! Get in!

If we manage to get Austin in as well, that would be quite something
Not been this excited for quite some time

Yeah it sure is!
Just need someone to replace the crap Williamson (who shouldn't even be playing in the Premier League!) and Colo now.

I'm sure when we signed Williamson from Wycobe Wanderers? he didn't much first team action which says a lot....!

It seems all the NE teams are making decent signings this season.. hopefully its not another season of struggle for both premiership teams!

As much as I hate Sunderland, I agree they've made some decent signings as well as Newcastle
