Weren't South Africa also giving some kind of bribe at one point as well and also a £5m bribe to the Irish after they were knocked out of the 2010 World Cup Qualifying Play-Offs when Thierry Henry blatantly cheated...

The more this goes on, the more I think FIFA in it's current form is finished, it should be wound up and reconstituted, because this will get worse...

So basically a complete overhaul of the organisation from top to bottom

It needs it, if this is true about Germany/South Africa etc, how many other countries have being bribed or the opposite way..?

FIFA need to sort themselves out.
The South Africans were accused of paying bribes totalling $10m
South Africa denies $10m World Cup Bribe

The Germans are accused of paying bribes in there bid to host 2006 World Cup

As for Ireland, they were handed a €5m Euro loan over Henrys Handball
FIFA gave FAI €5m 'loan' to stop legal action over Thierry Henry handball

England have also had questions asked
England World Cup 2018 bid team quizzed by Fifa investigator Michael Garcia over £35000 dinner

And after we lost the bid, Lord Triesman pointed out some of the bribes asked from him
Triesman claims four FIFA members sought 2018 bribes

One of the guys wanted a Knighthood in return for his vote Nicholas Leoz I think his name is
Jack Walker asked for £2.5m for an education centre in Trinidad and £500k for him to secure Haitis TV Rights for the World Cup
The Thais wanted a friendly with England and the Brazilian FIFA delegate said something like 'Tell me what you have for me'

FIFA is an utter shambles and a joke now no

The Cancer inside FIFA is rapidly becoming terminal, just growing and growing and it will take a lot of work to sort it all out
Bloody hell, needs to be sorted.... it'll get the point where no one will support FIFA.
Joe Cole has joined Coventry on a 35-day emergency loan.

Who would of thought that 5 years ago?
Although I wouldn't have thought that, his career has went down hill since he left Chelsea and signed for Liverpool.

West Bromwich Albion's James McClean sparks Sunderland anger with final whistle celebrations towards the away fans

What a complete Bell End...

He should be asked to attend the board room and FA for tea and biscuits, he should get a ticking off from man in a blue uniform, to me that is inciting a riot or whatever it may be called

Good day for Newcastle then!
To celebrate Back to the Future day, the Football League have published a few images on Twitter of how things have changed since Marty McFly travelled to this day.

First up, teams in the top5 divisions who have gained the most places in the last 30 years https://twitter.com/football_league/stat...61/photo/1

And teams in the top 5 divisions who have dropped the most places https://twitter.com/football_league/stat...18/photo/1

Teams who have scored the most goals https://twitter.com/football_league/stat...01/photo/1

When you look at the stats, the scoreline kinda flatters Sunderland, 39/61 for possession, 8/21 attempts, 4/8 on target, 1/10 corners...

But as you say, it is all about hitting the onion sack, Sunderand managed it 3 times and my old man always says, it dont matter how bad a performance you put in, getting the 3 points anyway you can.

Having seen in slow motion on MOTD, I am not convinced Coloccini should have been sent off, yes, Fletcher was the last man, but the pass over shot him and was always going to end up in Elliotts hands, so I aint 100% certain there was a goal scoring opportunity, but I guess if the ref points to the spot he has to send Coloccini off, I cant remember the exact rules on that.

I liked Adam Johnsons celebrations, he coulda jumped into the South Stand when he decided to goto the North Stand and made it absolutely clear who his celebration was aimed at.

Heres hoping Sunderland can turn things round from this day forward

That was the Arse's biggest defeat by lower league opposition for 57 years and it looks like Jose is treading a fine line now...He has cracked up imo and should get out for the sake of his sanity...But he has 50m reasons to stay

Out of that lot Prince Bin-Ali is who would get my backing, I would not want an African right now, I reckon the lot of them are as bent as nine bob notes, Platini is shrouded by corruption and that will always hang over him, even kf he is cleared imo.

The FA have been going on and on about FIFA needing to cleaned, one of them should have grew some knackers and stood themselves...

I considered putting in an application to stand hahaha...But I have no experience in Football Administration...I would do a better job than tjan the current clowns in charge!!!!!
Let's hope who ever gets in doesn't bribe to.... no doubt they will though....
