IOR have found new owners (again) - with Ken Hodcroft stepping down immediately.
No news as to who the new owners at the Vic are.
Gary Owers has been revealed as Malcolm Crosby's assistant at the International Stadium.
According to the HUFC website, a more detailed statement is due to be released on Monday. However the Mail are reporting that JPNG Global, a recruitment company with offices in Dubai and London are believed to be behind the takeover

Wonder if this one goes through?!
I suppose time will tell with it. IOR pulled the plug on the proposed takeover to TMH due to them having concerns about the long term future of the club. Even though there's a lot of anti-IOR people in Hartlepool who will be glad to see the back of Hodcroft, if it wasn't for him bankrolling us for the last 17/18 years, then chances are we wouldn't be an established FL club who are financially sound.

It is a good thing what IOR/Hodcroft is doing, they could have just cut and run and left you at the mercy of TMH...I actually respect IOR for coming back and saying 'No, it ain't going to happen like this'...
Despite that, I still hate Hartlepool [emoji14]
Rumours flying around that Marwood is making a return to Gateshead.
Not in the UK but Italy:
BREAKING: Parma have been declared bankrupt. They will have to start from the amateur leagues again. Massive shame.
Heard they were in €200M debt to.
Sad news such a shame, was once a decent team!

I'd be scared if that came up to me never mind the children, it looks utterly terrifying.
I thought it looked more like the sun from the Teletubbies on drugs myself.
I can confirm one piece of news - intu Metrocentre will be Gateshead FC's main sponsor next season.
And I can pretty much confirm that - James Marwood is expected to be a Gateshead player again within the next week

Second thought it is just the Sun off its face on Heat.
Gateshead Football Club have re-signed James Marwood from Forest Green Rovers and Robbie Ramshaw has signed a new contract with the club.
Nigel Pearson has been sacked.

What will the pricing be for the friendly against us on the 17th July mate?
Clint Dempsey getting sent off for Settle Sounders against Portland Timbers in the US Open Cup...
Seattle finished the game with 7 players...
For his actions Dempsey has been banned from playing in the US Open Cup for 6 games or 2 years, whichever is longer...
He ripped the Referees notebook in front of him

£10 Adults
£5 Concessions
£3 Under 16's
That's what it normally is, however, nothing has been set in stone yet but I will let you know as soon as I find out a bit more mate.

Was quite funny when we last played...
Talking to a little boy at the bus stop afterwards, he was going on about Gary Brown going down at the end of the match...
Kid said to me 'he went down a bit easy don't ya think, big softie', I looked at him all serious and said 'Something you need to know...I'm a Darlo fan' his dad and the people around looked at him, looked at me and laughed when the kid said 'Oh no, I have really gone and put my foot in it now'
Gary Brown was actually out for close to 6 month
