We haven't even spent much and i like all 4 signings (Virgini has signed permanently but he went out on loan cause we don't want him, it was in the loan contract).
We need another Creative midfielder and a striker and were done... hopefully a couple of more signings before first game

Newcastle signed Mike Williamson from Portsmouth in the 2009/10 season, where he had made a handful of Premier League appearances.

He can play all of midfield and striker but he prefers on the wing and Dick said hes better on the wing.
My first away game of the season tomorrow! I'm heading down to Harrogate too see Gateshead in a Pre Season Friendly. I'll make sure I get down there a bit earlier and get some bus photos. Kick off is at 7:45pm so I should have plenty of time.

I am looking forward to seeing what Mitrovic does this season, I only know of him through Footy Manager, he is a beast on my handheld save game...Played over 1000 times for me and scored 800 goals, part of that time he played for nearly 7 years without being dropped when he got injured for only the third time

Weren't Sunderland tied into a £2 million deal for Vergini, as it was in the loan contract, something like him having to play 20 games which triggered the payment...

I remember reading in the Echo last week that Adcocaat didn't want him...
Why couldn't Sunderland not have dropped him after his 19th appearance as they knew a 20th game triggered the 2m fee...Does not make sense as to why they did not do that
