Blatter now seems to be saying what I was saying last week about term limits...
I would like to see term limits introduced, Sepp Blatter was becoming the J. Edgar Hoover of World Football
I have already said 10 years maximum(2x 5 year terms) or 8 or 9 years terms(2x 4 year terms or 3x 3 year terms) with an age cap in place, I dunno, maybe 55, 60 or 65
Mod note: I've merged the FIFA thread into this thread, at the request of the author of both threads.

Seems ol' Sepp is on the Feds radar
I wonder if investigators have someone or somebodies willing to sing like a canary and implicate Blatter...I know Jerome Valcke(ain't he Blatters right hand man) has been implicated, so here is hoping the FBI can get to the bottom of it...
Football needs to be cleaned up and the time to do it is now
Steve Mcclaren now favorite for the Newcastle job....
I'm going to be on ITV Tyne Tees soon if anyone is watching... Regarding the JJ O'Donnell fund.

Just stuck the TV on, and noticed it on Look North as well...
Gonna watch the ITV News on +1 at 7pm
I would like to think I speak for most of us when I say We should be proud of Lee and what he has done for a young lad to take it on is amazing...
The Look North headline said 'a 3 month wait to find out of JJ will play agaim

Lucky chap!
Gold plated desk, big black comfy chair and a little trap door to drop naughty kids into a dungeon?
In all seriousness, well done!
Hopefully the op is a success and JJ appreciates it for a long, long time.

I agree there mate
I am confident for JJ now
Rehabbing at Manchester City is amazing, they probably have the best medical team money can assemble...
Though if I was going to a football club to rehab and recover, I would prefer to work with Eva Caneiro, The Doc at Chelsea
She definately has the cougar thing going on about her
See Pavel Srnicek would love to coach at Newcastle...
I used to love that man, I met him years ago when I was at School in Durham, one of my friends knew him and asked him to pop along to watch us on an Athletics day, we had a a kick around, I went in goal, trying to show off, I dived for a ball and l landed heavy on my arm and hurt myself, I was soft as shite, but managed not to cry lol

Is that a regular fixture? Do Newcastle and Gateshead have good relations with each other, I would imagine quite a few people would support both???

No idea, but I can't remember them playing each other last year.

The Mexico and US games look tasty and York and Sheffield will be a canny day out...
Would love to Darlo to play Newcastle again, but after the way Newcastle fans behaved the last time we played them in 2011? a lot of people may not want us to play each other
Newcastle friendly with Darlington marred by crowd violence following Pitch Invasion
What a bunch of Cocks they were that night...

Mind, when he resigned, Sunderland fans found Dick hard to swallow.
Hopefully he will rise to the occasion!
