Should have said to the conference.

They finished 18th - hardly mid table, two places clear of the relegation zone Wink
Only 2 teams get relegated out of League 2 to the Conference, which in the end turned out fine for me  Smile

Think it was 8m either way no doubt Alan will allow Wickham to be his best... playing as a striker...
Newcastle finally confirmed the signing of Chancel Mbemba earlier this evening, after being granted a Governing Body Endorsement by the FA.

Has Wickham actually done anything while at Sunderland to warrant an £8m move? I've hardly heard the lad mentioned.

He scored 5 goals in 6 games at the end of the 2013/14 other than that, no.

His stats don't look the best, 11 in 74 appearances for Sunderland?!

Quite pleased with the business Newcastle have done actually, I'd like to see another centre back come in, potentially one of N'Koulou, Matip, Abdennour or Alvarez Balanta. If we get Austin and Ivan Toney in as well, I'd be happy, oh and I'm currently researching how much Williamsons bus fare to Leeds will be Wink

It was 8 mill with add-ons and other clauses which would have took it about 10 mill if the bonuses were paid out
