Someone keeps trying to phone my but I don't recognize the number

I had the same, but the salad version. I don't know if it's a UK-wide thing, but they're now doing a 'Salad of the Day' for £2.19.

I'm off bread at the moment, so it's ideal for me, and I doubt it'd be cheaper to make my own salads (with meat) for a week. It'd certainly come close anyway!

Whey answer it and find out..... or google the phone number.

If it's an 07 or 0191 number then it isn't and organisation it is a landline (more than likley) whereas if it is a 08 number it will be a company etc
OAP's who think they can barge right past you... its not like i was gonna let u on first anyway.....

I have had a few of these, one being an OAP in Park Lane who claimed I had pushed in the queue for the X20 when I hadn't.

Also there is one who lives in Chilton who always pushes his way to the front of the queue for the 7 in Durham Bus Station.

In fairness it's not just OAPs who do this, I have also had people around my age do this too.

I have had quite a few 07 and 0191 numbers ring me that has turned out to be PPI, Loans People and Accident Claim Companies...I argued with one claims company about an accident I never had, they insisted I had an accident 12 months previous and would not have it that the last accident I had was in 2004 which was settled in 2006, got the best possible fuck off I could give

At the Galleries a few years back, I let an old woman on a bus before me, then an old fella pushed in front of me saying 'You let her in front of you, you gonna let me in front' he laid into me when I said 'I might have had you not shoved right through me'...Some Old People use the line 'If it was not for our generation, you wouldn't have your freedom' or 'We fought for you in the 2nd World War', I started to use the comeback 'So you fought for my freedom, thanks for that...But when you ran onto the beach in Normandy or headed onto the battlefield, did you scream For God, King, Country and the future David Forster'...

Some OAPs are unbearable, I think we need to look after them, I am all for helping Old People, but some of them are so far up themselves and think society owes them everything
Now 3 are playing musical chairs on the bus, they moved 3 times before we go to the Barnes, they got on in the city centre!

But how will they have got my number?

When they signed up and followed you, they must have been slowly forgotten about. It's probably those from the days of Daviesbuspics trying to reach high command.

If you give your number to any company or association, their can sell your number to these cold callers and their don't need to get your permission to sell your number, their sell the numbers by the bulk for a small fee, and if you answer when their call you then you just get more and more calls.
Turns out the trip to the shops wasn't as successful as I thought.
Picked up Prawn Cocktail Seabrooks, rather than Ready Salted.

Not too popular in Constantopolous Towers tonight!

Think it made me chuckle somewhat but did made me think that someone has a bit too much spare time on their hands and wonder if they will do anything more like this such as fan fiction between NEB members.

The thing is with it being Bazza it could be absolutely anyone who wrote this although as it has included other ethusiasts I imagine it will be somebody within the hobby although some of the public know who some of us are, I remember jumping on the 24X at Framwellgate Moor after college one night and I overheard these lads talking about Bazza and taking the mick really, no idea who they were, just randoms. This is one reason why I choose to have some anonymity in the hobby although if someone wrote something like this about me I wouldn't really care, in fact I'd probably just laugh that someone had taken their time to create such a thing.

I'd actually like to know how many people that I don't know actually know who I am.
I was in Morpeth last year, and two girls came up to me and asked if I was Tommy.  Big Grin
Trying to renew tax credits online. Couldn't verify my account as Experian wanted a bank account number off when I was 18. which is no longer active and hasn't been for years. So they want to charge me £14.99 to check my report (had free trial years ago).
