Would love to know the logic in this!

The X14 driver has just taken my child all zone ticket off me (no reason provided, just that I can't use it) yet issued me with a child single! Absolutely furious with this driver, and I wouldn't mind if he wasn't a rude bellend too. And to make it even better the WiFi doesn't work on the pile of shite.
No internet on the computer...decides to go off when doing something important... sending emails etc!
Virgin is getting worse.

Can you PM me his driver number and I'll take it up with the leading driver the next time I see him.

Arriva's leading drivers have the authority to discipline other drivers..? I thought this would be a managerial role...

I think it was a Blyth driver I'll email Arriva when I get back in.

Ah right, some Blyth drivers are miserable.

If he can report spelling mistakes in timetables he can report drivers like these....

Most of them are okay on the 308 but this one was horrible. I can't see Arriva doing anything though, I'll be lucky if I get a response I think.
The toilet flush deciding to break AFTER I chucked in a 'bloo'.

Cue lots of swearing and a blue hand.

The flush is fixed, but the blue isn't coming off the hand...

Pretty much every Blyth driver I've ever had has been miserable, grunting at you when you get on, not a great advert for the company. I remember one day last year I was waiting for people to get off the bus, before getting on, and he shouted at me to get on the bus as he didn't want to run late...

A truly Victor Meldrew moment.

Give their retentions team a bell. Tell them you're sick of their shit, and moving the entire package over to Sky. Watch the discount come rolling in...

Wrestling with those ridiculous windows on an omnicity. Can only just reach and needed to use both hands and now my back and thumb hurt.

I was wresting with 1581's windows earlier, shortly after SOME IGNORANT GIT who I've had problems with before wanted to get past me and ended up manhandling me into a metal seat at Morpeth bus station. Thankfully the 2 driver (a very nice Blyth driver...!) told him off.

So to Mr Ignorant Git, the seats behind the driver on a StreetLite are not priority seats and you are more than capable of walking very fast like a penguin after you manhandled me into the back of a metal seat.

If I bump into him while I do my explorer trip tomorrow I'll have have him tasting his bollocks via my shoe.

Sorry about having a little rant  Big Grin

Every route seems to have its own ignorant git. They come out of the woodwork when big'un's with me (superficially passes for a young NT teen, until you try to hold a conversation with him) but littl'un's jumping, shouting and flapping tends to scare them off. The inbuilt prejudices of ignorant gits can be a useful thing, sometimes.

So, tonight's task - run it in safe mode and backup all my files plus hopefully some software files just in case it has to be totally reset. What a way to cement the last few weeks as the worse few weeks of my life...........

And now it won't even load in Safe Mode. So, that's 2 months worth of Photos lost along with my CV and other document

Do you not back up your pics even it is to the cloud?
Typical.

As soon as I spend £4.49 on some Athlete's Foot spray the irritation and itching instantly subsides without application. Honestly, spending money, for me, provides the perfect placebo effect.

Unless you've encrypted your drive, then you could just shot the drive out, stick it in a caddy, and back up any data on it. Something like this will do the trick - http://www.ebuyer.com/482879-xenta-2-5-u...re-gd25108

You'll obviously need another machine to connect it to via USB. Better finding that than losing all your data though.

Don't tell me you've been doing a Geoff and sprinting across the Millennium Bridge to catch the Q3?!
(20 Aug 2015, 6:39 pm)citaro5284 wrote [ -> ]Do you not back up your pics even it is to the cloud?

After each outing, I transfer my photographs to a 1TB external hard drive. I then upload certain photographs to Flickr, and if I've already taken several photographs of a specific bus which I've got another photograph of, I'll archive the photo for use at a later date. I've been taking photos since 2012, and I've used up 142GB worth of memory on this external hard drive, so I still have just under 800 GB left to play with. The amount of photos I've taken has decreased over the years, so I can only imagine that it will last me a good few years yet.

I keep any important documents on USBs, as these aren't too memory intensive and it's easy to store a memory stick.

In this day and age where external storage is so cheap, it's mad not to back everything up. As you say, there's even the option to back up on cloud-based storage such as Google Drive.

No, but I did have to briskly jog in order to catch the 45 from Swalwell Roundabout.
BBC iPlayer is garbage! Trying to watch a programme and I have the programme info and playing info etc. taking over a quarter of the screen.

It's not the iPlayer that's doing that. It's the device you're trying to watch it on. I've just tested myself and it looks fine?

To make matters worse I am now getting "you don't have enough bandwidth to play this right now" since my sister went on her IPad.

I'll blame BT and their crappy WiFi for that one! [emoji34]
The fact i have to buy a bus pass this year for college starting Newcastle college in September...

Although its only £217.00 for all zones per term (3 terms) - so its only £651 for the year... but i'd rather spend that money on something else..... Tongue
