There are unpleasant people the world over, unfortunately.

The guy who was playing bongo drums at Newcastle Monument at 10.15 this morning.

Its Sunday morning for Pete's sake. This guy should be given as ASBO or alternatively have his hands cut off.

By doing this that means there will be one less idiot in the world. Could be worse, could be 09:00 in the morning with some bloke playing tunes out loudly and having to shout down the bleeding microphone (Quaylink launch).
I don't know why everyone seems to have a problem with buskers. Yes, some are bad but they're not stupid, just trying to earn a living like the rest of us.

Exactly. They have as much right to be there as anyone else!

Thats a bit unfair Marcus, especially without being informed, have you had an explaination as to why???

A few ways deal with this...

1. Complain to science teacher...If that dont work...
2. Goto your personal tutor, head of year and Headmaster
3. If all else fails send your old's up to school

Maybe Marcus has fallen victim to corruption, like this poor lass?

The quality does vary, even more so in Durham. We've had a few who can clear out thr marketplace in about 16 hideously butchered bars.

I remember when I went to the Arriva MAX X12 launch in Durham there was a busker and I got to spend half an hour listening to his singing and all his music sounded so depressing, it sure sucked all the joy right out of me that afternoon.

I have heard some good ones but I have also heard plenty of terrible ones in my time as well. One particular bad one was a saxophone player who only seemed to be able to play one song.
Don't get me wrong, I've witnessed some horrific buskers and, of course, there are buskers whose musical stylings aren't particularly to my taste. However, I don't think they are idiots for busking nor do I wish for any appendage of theirs to be forcibly amputated because I don't happen to appreciate their performance.

Overall, I enjoy street performers of any kind. I think city-centres would be duller places without their presence.

They also don't seem to have told you how to form sentences.

They are. I like Northallerton, but it's so bleeding quiet. It lacks buzz.

I've been enjoying the brass group that have been busking in Newcastle. Good jiggly music.

The guy who, many years back, strummed on his banjo and very quietly sang George Formby songs always amused me. He was often outside M&S, well out of earshot of the bagpiper who terrorised Blackett street - I worked in one of the upstairs shops there long before it was modernised and turned into North Face and we'd groan if he turned up on  a Monday and all the steam presses were going full pelt because it meant that we couldn't close the windows!

And no, I'd never wish any harm on the bagpiper, no matter how loud and annoying, but I did silently plot a freak accident involving needle, thread and pinking shears coming into contact with his instrument.

Pretty sure the buskers playing bongo drums in Newcastle went something like this...

...if only! Smile
Taking the advice of some friends, and I'm going to be booking a doctors appointment sometime this week.

It's been suggested that I may have serious anxiety problems which has caused me to suffer with trust / jealous / panic issues, and probably contributed to the end of the relationship.

Why is it in this thread, well the fun of trying to get a doctors appointment of course.
I updated Facebook message app on my phone, but since I updated it I cannot get on it, the screen goes white, I have tried restarting my phone, deleting and re-installing the app and nothing's changed!

Where as me on the other hand has already seen the Doctor 3 Weeks ago, and will be seeing a Knee Specialist on Friday.
Was going to book an appointment, but I slept in until 11 which meant there was no point phoning them, you have to phone up at 8am if you want an appointment. Was going to go down before heading to work to make an appointment, but they are shut from 12 until 1.30.
Arriva's website it crap. No interactive timetable for the 44 towards Morpeth and the PDF version is crap.

It seems to take ages for them to put new timetables up. There wasn't one for the Durham 22 for ages when the service went sapphire. Blank page on the main site but no actual links on the arrivasapphire site.

I'm eagerly awaiting for the new X66/X67 timetable to appear as I'd quite like to know if I can still get to/from Middlesbrough as easily as I can now with the X66 going down to half hourly.

Not the biggest fan of Arriva's website.
