Don't know what's around now but Trades used to be pretty popular 10 years ago.
No dress code was required. I used to do Pizzas on Saturday night and used to rock up there wearing an old fleece, an old t-shirt, pair of jeans and trainers.

Just about old enough to threaten to tell his mam.
He could've been older than that, and it's not outside the realms of possibility that his 'children' could've been around the same age as the young-uns he seemed to be with.
Big'un wanting to catch the x9 to Newcastle then complaining because it's full and he has to sit next to someone.

I used to hate sitting next to someone as a child so I somewhat sympathise with his plight.

I still can't bare sitting next to other passengers on the bus, much worse if I have to choose someone to sit next to than someone sitting next to me although in that instance I always end up with someone taking up all the room and on some occasions I've been used a a backrest [emoji34]

The worst I've had is some guy with too much aftershave on top of too little washing sitting next to me in the crystal balls pose. I used a sharp corner of my bag to try and regain a bit of personal space.even worse because I was crammed against the window upstairs on a president and had nowhere to put my feet flat.

Tapatalk has had adverts for a while now, but this is a new way of advertising on Tapatalk. Can't say I like it as it blends in with the threads so can easily pressed in error, I know I sometimes don't read the titles of threads so I hope I don't accidentally press one [emoji30]
Getting enough adverts and calls about PPI as it is.

I thought it was spam at first so I clicked on it to delete the post... Obviously soon realised it was just Tapatalk advertising (annoyingly!)

For some reason in the last few days although I can connect to my WiFi network if I go up to my bedroom I can't seem to get any Internet access from my WiFi network in my room so I have to keep either use my mobile data or run downstairs to use the WiFi. Not sure why this has suddenly started to happen in the last few days as the hub hasn't been moved or anything, chances are it's just stupid BT.

Interesting you say that. On Thursday, the internet went off completely (and is still off - i am currently at Berwick) without warning. Tried to reset it several times and hasnt worked. Been using mobile data to check tapatalk on here but not been posting anything just to save it. Needless to say, its BT and we have had similar problems before.

My familiy's WiFi was a bit dodgy last week... not a good time for BT...

BT is ****, honestly don't know why we continued for them to provide our WiFi especially as in the weeks before it was renewed the hub would go off for several hours, with it being off for around 27 hours on one occasion. Honestly don't know why we renewed as even when it does work it's is terrible, on my phone I often can't load images so checking the Flickr app is a total waste of time and it took ages to actually view the image posted in the "sleeping commuters" thread earlier and this is all the time. Think one of the reasons we renewed was for BT Sport and I don't know why as it is very rarely watched so I have to suffer painfully awful WiFi so we can get a channel cheaper that is barely watched, especially annoying to me as I don't have an interest in sport.
My dad has always said that if Virgin covered where i live, he'd go with them. We have had so many problems with BT lately its getting to the point where it is becoming a joke. I can see us going back to Sky once our contract has run out.

Obvious question, but, have you tried turning it off and on again?

Hate it, waste of space. Here's what usually happens when I try and view everyone's Flickr photos on the Flickr app.

Turning it off usually makes it worse!
BT WiFi is probably the thing that has probably gotten the biggest amount of my frustration in this thread, that or Flickr.
Don't forget the on again
Had to do that with mine, last night. Plusnet and usually problem free, but my laptop stopped talking to it and when it did connect, it was like being on dialup! Took 5 minutes for a page of this forum to load. Without any photos. Rebooted the router then all was fine.

If that's the case everyone I follow on Flickr must be in on the joke as this happens all the time with various different accounts. Funnily enough it's fine if I go on the laptop.

Maybe it is time for a 'what's making you feel old today' thread.
Either way, seeing that it is the 20th anniversary of Radio 1 in Ibiza - makes me feel old/is annoying me
