The Omni I got from Scarborough to Whitby sat on the main road out of service for about 5-10 mins and then sat in the station for another 10 mins prior to leaving out of service. It arrived in off the X93 on time, near enough, so shouldn't have been regulated.
There was only one bus on the Park and Ride (2827), which according to the app, was running about 13m late throughout the journey. It seemed to be carrying the load for two buses too, as it came into Whitby the first time around fully seated with what appeared to be full capacity standees too.
They get 45 mins layover more or less, and if it was a Whitby board (ie not one of the two Redcars) then it may have gone up the depot or something.
211 isn't specifically allocated to the P&R as it spends most of its time on town work, and there is only 2 buses allocated to the P&R, not three. We have been using deckers in their layovers between the short X93s to operate duplicates on the P&R in order to move the crowds as the Solos have been struggling to cope. NYCC are going to have to come up with something better next year me thinks.
Anyone going to the Nissan show today?
The weather has probably put me off from going. Apparently it's going to bucket down later on as the UK feels the after-effects of Hurricane Bertha. A yellow warning (be aware) has been issued by The Met Office and I don't fancy paying £5 to stroll around an open airfield getting wet.
If anyone is going, I'd suggest taking an umbrella - just in case!

The yellow warning has me wanting to go out for a few photos (just 'cause I'm strange and like to see photos in heavy rain - little bit different), but I suspect it'll be very local rather than heading up to Nissan and paying a fiver too.
I'll see what the weather's like after I upload some photos to Flickr, do the news, and update our fleet lists.
Have any lineups appeared for today yet?
Not me sadly.
I'm just going to go over to the Metrocentre and get a better shot of 9120.

Will be interesting to see if it's still out. In reality, it should have transferred out of Riverside by now... Its 'week' is up.

My hopes aren't high - but we will see.
I was expecting it to be trailed on the Toon Link before the Limes.
I've done a lot of rallies this year and to be honest I've enjoyed most of them. And to be brutally honest, the Metrocentre and Teesside Running Day are at the bottom end of the list propped up by Totally Transport. For the record here are the remaining rallies I plan to attend.
Lathalmond Open Weekend (attending Sat and Sun).
Seaburn Rally
Showbus
Birkenhead
Bridgeton (Glasgow)
Lincoln End of Season Running day

Going to Dunfermline for the SVBM today, via Edinburgh.
Anyone else going? My day hasn't got off to a roaring success so far as I missed the 0651 Metro and I've had to get the 0706 instead (running 2 mins early at SoL)

Yes going up this afternoon on the train once I have finished work... Get to Dunfermline at 1953 and ten camping with 2 others who have gone up this morning in the car!
I'm having breakfast at the Morrisons at the Gyle Centre. Then its just another 30 minute drive.

Yes, someone managed to get out of pinching tents in hurricane winds!

I hope you're out pitching a tent rather than pinching them!
I do admire your dedication camping though, if it's as windy as it is here today.

The wind has been hideous in Dunfermline, and there has been light rain in the air all day.
It's now peeing down in Edinburgh.

Yes, pitching.
It's dying down up here now, just after we had a hour and a half hunt for a windbreak to go between the two tents.

It's been really bad these past few days. Even Blackpool was horrendous this week. I've managed to avoid rain so far like, apart from the storm as I came across the Pennines!

One of the lads in the office was away for the weekend to the Lakes with his other half - climbing mountains - and he was telling me he had to pack it in half way through or something because they couldn't see a thing and the wind was so strong it was quite dangerous.
Not my cup of tea!
Was going to go for the Metro Replacements today but the end around 1230 so it's a waste of time now. Will just go out for a few photos elsewhere.

Likewise, but had plenty of photos to upload from yesterday - so just patiently waiting for 19:30 to come so I can go out for some photos of the buses on diversion in Sunderland due to the closure of the Wearmouth Bridge.

I would love to go down for it, I still don't know if I will be accepted to head up to Scotland, and that is what I am working myself towards that hopefully happening

Rod! That's where I got it from, as I'm watching that episode now.

Shame they no longer have it for him to drive! Looks like he struck lucky when he waited 30 years to drive it and drove it just 1 year before it left the fleet. At least he can have fun in that Lodekka they got to replace it!
As an answer to the question (i know you didnt ask it), possibly. I know the plans are to go down for it now we dont have a dog anymore. So much freedom but the house just doesnt feel right without it.
Went and collected my train tickets this morning ready for our trip to Scarborough this Friday.
