Gotta do something - bright blue skies today!
I love blue skies! I've only got 2 1/2 hours with my rest bite workers so I've got to stay local. Ugh.

Sorry for pulling you up on spelling, do you mean Respite Worker
That's the one, Fozz! Could never spell it correctly! Bloody useless today, standing around moaning about the cold.
It has came to my attention that a certain Bus Enthusiast with dark hair and flashy camera, took it upon himself to invade my territory today whilst photographing the Mercs on there last day on the 2A/2C, This person was caught red handed by ones mother as she walked down the street to get the Bus, hmmm I wonder who it could be.

Was this bus enthusiast with dark hair and a flashy camera also munching on a Big Mac and a Toffee Honeycomb McFlurry?

Had a feeling it was you when my mother gave the description, as for the Big Mac and Toffee Honeycomb McFlurry I have zero idea, doubt it though as she seen you at the bottom of Lambton taking this photo -

For 5327!
Go North East: 5327 / NK58DWE by
danielgrahamm, on Flickr
When I was planning where to get my photographs, I realised that this was the only place (besides The Galleries) that I could photograph 5327 in full sun. Low sun means I have to plan around open spaces - Lambton serving as a good example!
Oh I thought he was on about Bazza.

I think we all have our own turf's and we don't want people stepping on our patch, a few month back someone stepped on my patch and they did a real s**t job of getting photos there.

Gotta be honest I do love CLS, albeit all of its downsides.
Don't like crappy photos in the place - Mods: if he has an account on here please delete my post - but 'uktransportvideos82' on Flickr seems to take photos with a £10 phone from Tesco and get like 30+ likes on every photo! [emoji47] - a lot of which are in CLS!

If it was Bazza he would of been face down in a Ditch at the hands of the LMD as we dont like the creepy sort, speaking of Bazza he was lucky to escape alive when I seen him at The Galleries a few weeks back
, as for Dan the LMD welcome him to take further photos on Lambton providing he uses the Tag "Lambton" on his Flickr Photos.
(24 Jan 2015, 7:35 pm)Malarkey wrote [ -> ]Trust you to post at the exact same time haha, the low sun is a right pain in the arse when coming up the main road through Lambton, when I took my photo of 5325 last week I tried to get it at that spot, but ended up with Sun all over the Windscreen, so ended up do an Olympic Sprint back up the street.
'SunCalc' helps me a great deal when planning the best location to get photos.
For the spot I caught 5327 at:
http://suncalc.net/#/54.8934,-1.5367,20/...1.24/14:25
The middle line represents the angle which the sun is coming from. The sun needs to be behind you, so you also need to stand somewhere on this line (in real life - obviously!)
At this time of year, 14:30 is probably the latest you can get a photo there, as I had to squeeze the bus into a tiny space to avoid a few shadows at the back of the bus. The sun will start getting lower by 15:00, meaning that there are more and more shadows.

I ended up in his photo of an Arriva Enviro 200 the other week.
That particular photo has 69 likes, think I'll have to stop trying so hard and follow the whole of Flickr - just kidding I couldn't do that.

Went through his photostream the other night and noticed the massive amount of faves on each photo. Looked on his profile and saw he followed 5,600 others - I only follow 132!
Next time that you see him give him a salute of some kind...

I jumped on the following 82/83 to The Galleries. He had plenty of layover at The Galleries before heading back to Sunderland, so I stood there and gave him a really big grin for the duration. I ended up on his bus later when I was heading home - he didn't get a 'thank you' or 'cheers' from me!

Some days I struggle to keep up with what my 80 followers have uploaded, if I had that many followers I'd probably never leave the house which would make the Flickr slightly redundant, it would just be me giving favourite's.

So from looking at you would of been standing on the of the Pavement just before the double parking spaces then im guessing, might have to start using this as it seems to be quite helpful, and clearly makes a major improvement to photos if stood in the right position.

When has uktransportvideos82 been driving a bus, Dan?

Wooops - me thinking we were in the happy thread!

Don't think he has the ability to hold a PCV licence, Dan.
Was in Edinburgh today, and saw quite a few of Lothians Gemini 3's. Would love to see some of these in the North East (permanently), the glass staircase looked really classy. Think that, if Volvo put a decent engine in it, it would be perfect for Arriva Sapphire services, as it looks more premium than the E400 MMC in my opinion.
Also had a few rides on the Trams (really behind I know
) , was really impressed, the seats were comfortable. The two trams I used (got on the same one for two of my trips), were both very clean and warm, I was sitting next to a door and it was still warm when that opened.
Apologies if there are any repeated words in this as my phone was being wierd when I typed it, I've removed the one's I've found.
(Move this if it's in the wrong thread please, only posted it here because I couldn't think of a more appropriate one)
Me and Davie are heading to Park Lane today to get the service changes.. Is anyone planning on going??
Aye. Hope you have a good day

Probably not Park Lane, but I'll be at various places in Sunderland to get photos of the service changes. Have to do our news update first, though!
I'm out and about for service changes but in a very different city - Sheffield. The city of B9s and E400s. Oh, and Streetlites. For anyone planning a trip to here - I'm very much suggest a trip on the 52 from Hillsborough on both Stagecoach and First - Streetlite and E400Hs going up the biggest hill in Sheffield is a nerve-racking and joyful experience.
