You are spending too much time on this forum, citaro5284... "Sisters"?!

Think the 1 could do with double deckers too in the next order - however the 22 has taken a lot of the passengers away now so might not be justified but it still gets busy sometimes. Sadly not enough deckers that could be cascaded.

Good idea, the cadets should be gone anyway after the Streetlites for the 20/20A enter service, they seem to be replacing the cadets and most/all of the duel door B10's to, but maybe they'll want some more gone before the Streetlites.

Here's what they could do with the spares (after depot changes)

Allocated already:
Service 1 - 5273, 5274
ToonLink - X30/X31 - 5254

Others:

5247/5248 - Washington for the 5/50
5249 - Riverside - Spare for the 12 and 12A
I must have missed the discussion. When the 50 moves to Washington are chester gaining any routes. Washington loosing any etc?

The 88 is moving so it wouldn't need a spare

Rest of the Coast & Country Streetlites from Stanley to Chester

Other Movements:

88/88A will move to Riverside.
5 from Riverside to Washington
50/50A from Chester to Washington
47 from Riverside to Stanley

Think that's all of them?

And will no doubt end up with 8266.

Or 8328 or if they stick with versas a city link could appear

I think 8328 should be repainted for it, they'll still have 5389/5390 as spares for the Versa routes.

Will chester get anything extra. Seems quite a bit to loose the 50 and not get anything to replace it

I like to think of it as 8328 is spare for Q1/Q2, 5389 is spare for the 58 and 5390 is spare for the Q3. I know however it does not work like this. A Renown or Solar will probably be the 88/88A spare

I believe 8328, 5389 & 5390 are the spare for all of the following; Q1, Q2, Q3, 58 & 58X.

Not sure how many will be heading up this year, if any do, its likely they'll replace the Lolynes and Olympian's in the fleet due to the DDA deadline coming up for deckers.

But you never know, they could go on a service like the 1.. and others come in to replace the Non DDA deckers.

Edit:

It seems upcoming changes on the Brighton and Hove site mention that the 1/1A/N1/28/29 will get new buses this summer:

A fleet of brand new buses will be introduced to the 1 and 1A routes in the summer. The buses will have two doors, so passengers can leave the bus through the centre exit at the same time as passengers can board through the front door. This will mean faster journeys as buses spend less time at bus stops.

The 28/29 - A new fleet of buses in a new colour scheme is being introduced to the 28 and 29 during the summer.

The 88/88A already has a Solar board allocated as there's not enough Versas, Though 2 will appear till Friday as Dan said 8295 is out till Friday for PSV.
Because of the lack of branded Versas, I think its a good move moving the 88/A to Riverside which have a wider veriety of buses ( Aswell as spare Versas ) to allocate in the event of a Versa being VOR.

Still no news on the routing of the 88A? or is it getting withdrawn and all services becoming service 88?

The Solar board is for a school service requirement, isn't it?
