4913 and 4914 are lovely ( even though there W reg ) and I have a softspot for B7s, I find them nippy. ( though sluggish at the same time )

Ah right, My apologies

4913 and 4914 are great yeah - they are X reg though (X913WGR and X914WGR). 4911 was my favourite one though sadly not at PM anymore.

I've always thought there were W Reg, 4911 is at Riverside now I believe.

No probs, its my fault because i should of explained it better.

Currently in the fleet there's only 19 Cadets and duel door B10's so all should be gone when the Streetlites enter service... this should leave at least 2 Scania's as float vehicles.

So get your pictures of the Cadets and Duel door B10's Wink

Ah right, I think I need to revise fleet allocations because I'm slipping up! EDiT very badly
(28 Mar 2016, 9:35 pm)dannygee wrote [ -> ]But the driver chooses the destination. I know during weekdays and saturdays the 40 is every 15 mins and 41 every 30 through howdon and 15 through battle hill. So every 2nd bus should display hadrian park. On a evening and sunday they just run every 30mins so it should be Wallsend - wallsend.

For example it is

For the 40

40-Wallsend - Wallsend
40- wallsend- hadrian pk
40-wallsend- wallsend
40- wallsend to hadrian

For the 41

41-wallsend- wallsend
41-hadrian pk -wallsend
41- wallsend - wallsend
41 hadrian pk to wallsend.

Sure dan or citaro can comfirm what driver should display etc

(28 Mar 2016, 9:40 pm)Tom wrote [ -> ]Ah right I guess Wallsend is ok as it is a circular to be fair but I think passengers can get confused with the destinations.

To be honest, most of the locals don't get confused by the 40/41 because the numbers (or similar numbers)that are used have been around over 25 years. Before it became the 40/41, it was originally the 340/341. There was a short period when the 341 didn't exsist when the 340 only ran Hadrian Park - High Farm - Wallsend, whilst the 305 covered the Hadrian Park - Howdon - Wallsend part of the loop.

I'd forgotten about them two. They'd both be withdrawn and hopefully scrapped.

I'd actually lose the will to live if that happened....

Unless 542 was also preserved.

And try and get one of our old SPD & MPD back.
Could we please get back to the latest Go North East news, instead of banging on about bus restoration projects which are highly unlikely to ever come about?

I'm sure there are much more appropriate areas of the forum for bus preservation discussion to go.
6006 is out today if anyone wants it. Currently crossing the Tyne Bridge on the X1A.
