Stagecoach are running it as far as Brampton before it turns around to go back to Carlisle.
Says on the “Special Timetables” at Eldon Square it’s running, and the same at Hexham as well that it’s running. Has on Arriva website it’s on as well

That's on the page for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve services, Boxing Day services are on the first page with timetables for each service that is running.
Just paid £1.20 for a metro ticket, the machine said transaction cancelled and didn’t spit my money back out.... fantastic..
Why can't I sleep?! [emoji35]

Taking 2+ hours to get to sleep on a increasingly regular basis now, especially on occasions like tonight when I have to be up in the morning [emoji19]
Left my phone at my flat when I went to MetroCentre to get some photos of Rail Replacements as well as I wanted one of GNE 3983 (which didn’t run on the X50 again this week annoyingly). So had to go all the way back for it to Hexham to get it as I am staying away from there till Monday, luckily had my camera in my bag for the buses.

The thread that always comes back to haunt me...

In the past, I have said some things in this thread that may come across in a bad light, looking back, some of the things that I have said has appeared to ruffle some feathers and I am sorry for some of the comments that I have made, a fair number of the posts have made at times when I have been feeling angry or in some cases some distress and as a result I haven't really stopped to think about what I am posting and after posting I often regret what I have said but unfortunately I've passed the point of no return, especially if someone replies to my posts as otherwise I could quietly delete the comments and hope nobody notices. If I have upset anyone with any of my outbursts, than I can only apologise, there's a few instances where I would like to put things right but I don't think I am going to be able to. I have screwed up, sorry.

Jimmi, I understand the majority of your rants :

That post has been made as a result of one instance in particular where I expressed some criticism which has clearly caused some upset, that said however, I think the comments were taken a bit too much to heart, nearly two years on and clearly there is still a grudge.
Neighbour in flat above mine being an idiot last night banging on their floor after 11pm sounding rather annoyed, had my other half there and we were talking at a normal level. Then this morning when about to go out can here them saying stuff at a loud volume. Gone to my mams for a couple of nights but gonna go to Karbon Homes next time I’m in Hexham to put in a complaint about them. This isn’t the first time as back in October they were banging repeatedly and shouting profanities for no reason and I complained then but then I went back to my mams for about a week. Seems to happen when I have visitors. I am planning on moving as sick of it as well as keeping me awake when trying to sleep as they talk in their sleep as well non stop.

Don't want to post personal issues but I am in dire straights here...

Sad pathetic little bus enthusiasts are adding and discussing members of my family in Messenger group chats which has sod all to do with them.

I honestly don't know what to do. Help?! Feel completely powerless to stop it as well and can't bring myself to tell the family about it.

Name and shame them on here. Its pathetic, and it should be called out.
@Adrian

No clue who half of these people are and some are using fake profiles.
Been coming to MetroCentre for weeks now every time Newcastle play at home to get a photo of 3983 and every time red vykings keep showing up instead and have done it again today

And that's just the kids, ime.
Not having a good day...
Wore my new boots around town whilst unusually taking pictures in broad daylight. My lace caught on something, it ripped itself causing me to trip and then breaking the lens of my camera on impact. I'm also suffering bad wrist pains so who knows..

Around 300£s worth of damage..

Aye, I'll just nip down to poundland to get another lens for my camera  Sad
Got a bit of pain in my back [emoji21]
My Samsung 4K TV has suddenly packed in tonight. Picture went distorted and went off and won’t come back on. Had it repaired a couple of weeks ago now it won’t work at all. Booked an engineer to come Thursday. Luckily I don’t have to pay as it’s covered with Sky Protect.

EDIT: tried it before I went to bed and it decided to work again

The demise of Durham city centre has gone a step too far. It's bad enough that we're losing our favourite sources of lunch on the go - markses and pret - but now the Bells next to the bus station has gone and changed hands!

I noticed that when I was walking round the city centre on Easter Sunday to kill a few minutes, I gave up on Durham when HMV went the distance, happy memories of rushing there on Mondays during my lunch hour from college to buy new music releases, pity That's Entertainment went the distance as well. Still plenty of Greggs though [emoji23]

I used to enjoy visiting HMV in Durham. I liked the old Oxfam book shop as well, got some great bargains there over the years. Also it was a lot handier when the Arriva garage was a few minutes walk from the bus station!

When Greggs stores start disappearing, we need to worry.

Forgot to add my disappearing hairdresser to the list. Stopped by to make some appointments in the new year and they'd been kicked out for not being able to pay the rent.

All I need now is for the bank to close it's doors and 90% of the places I regularly use in the city centre will have gone. This is all in the 4 months since we moved into the city! I'm sure I'm not the only one who is increasingly shopping at the Arnison centre or in Newcastle, instead.

I know they're hyping up the psyche store that's opening on silver street but, tbh, i was more likely to buy something from East than i would be from there.

Edited because autocorrect is doing some weird stuff to my posts on this forum. I just caught it in the act!
While I'm feeling ranty, I ventured out without an 'at, today, and now there's snow settling on the bins!

I was having that issue for a little while whenever I used my phones browser to post on this forum (and only with this forum) but it seems to have sorted itself out now, although I mostly use Tapatalk anyway and luckily, I am now able to quote posts again on Tapatalk now.

Frustrating because I'm not the most accurate thumb typist, as it is, particularly after a glass or 3 of vin plonk but the level of drivel my posts contain is often spectacular, even for me.
Greetings from a Travelodge in Manchester.

I have had great difficulty sleeping lately but by some miracle I was straight out last night, just a shame that I was woken up at around 4am by people talking loudly, walking up and down the corridor and banging the doors down, sure enough once I was rudely awoken, it took forever to get back to sleep again [emoji19]
